"Paypal has the worst and the most annoying services ever, they're just making the life harder for you instead of making it easier, wanted to buy something on promotion, they canceled it claiming for security reasons.
spoiled my deal, the item is no longer under the promotion, got my paypal account limited and still didn't get my money back.

"I am thoroughly disgusted with PayPal. I am now in the red 30$ in my chequing account because they took 73.36$ from my bank account. even though I cancelled the order from the merchant. A WEEK BEFORE HAND. they had me wait "7-8" business days to get my money back and wouldn't do a single other thing about it. I am never using this company EVER. as soon as I get my money..whenever the HELL that is. I am canceling and getting a debit Visa. this is ridiculous. PayPal is terrible!!!!!!"

"Paypal is a dishonest company. I made a purchase from a merchant. AFTER I submitted the order with Paypal, the merchant increased the shipping charges 4 times from $6.25 to $25. Paypal should not allow this but they do. For some unknown reason, the merchant also split the order into two amounts. One for $10 and the other for $28. I disputed both amounts as unauthorized and cancelled the order with the merchant. Paypal sided with me on the $10 amount and refunded it but not the $28 amount saying it wasn't unauthorized. Remember, this was one order that the merchant split into two. If one was unauthorized, how could the other not be? I tried to escalate the denial per the website but the website is filled with lies. You can't escalate a denied claim. The merchant searsoutlet.com turned out to be a scammer so did not refund the $28 nor did Paypal. Multiple emails to Paypal were ignored after I was told "that's not how we do things" in regards to issuing refunds. Paypal also has a major password security flaw which allows anyone to use an old Paypal password to use funds from your account to buy things. So if your account password gets compromised and you change the password, it does no good because crooks simply use your old password and have full access to your funds. Paypal has been informed of this flaw and it has been posted in their forum but it is still there. They have been around long enough to not have this issue or fix it when brought to their attention. The fact they don't shows they just want to make money no matter how dishonest they have to be, "

"Paypal claim that they are a safe company to make payments... THEY ARE NOT!! Be very careful! Twice now I have been subject to fraudsters and thought I would be safe because I especially took the precaution to pay through Paypal. Both times there was absolutely nothing they wanted to do to help me! I've lost over 350£ to fraudsters now and Paypal refused to help... really really terrible terrible company I would not recommend ever using their services! "

"VERY unfair service if you are a seller. However ridiculous the buyer's claim is, paypal WILL reverse the money from the seller and force a return. They don't want to deal with chargebacks and incur chargeback fees. It is much easier for them to simply take the money from sellers account and refund the buyer. I have sold over 55,000 items using paypal so far and have won ONE "significantly" not as described case.

They are now changing their policy and time frame for buyers to initiate not-as-described claims from 45 days to 180!!! Paypal allows and stimulates fraudsters to scam sellers out of their money.

After 14 years of using paypal we are being forced to switch to another merchant processor. We can no longer deal with this.

"Normally when you think instant you think fast I was low on funds on asked a firend for 20 dollars hopeing it would be in my account after the assumption that on the website says real time money transfers after transferring the 20'from my paypal to my pal debit card told it will take 6 days pretty much this not fast id get the Money faster if it had been mailed to me thanks PayPal for begin utterly worthless i I rarely write reviews but feel this has to be expressed "

"People, if you need your money, stop using paypal, we live in a time where there are hundreds and thousands of other GOOD companies on web that do the same thing as paypal, but are doing their work a lot better and faster, and you can trust them more nowadays than paypal. I got a stupid copy-paste email form them saying they are sorry and they are starting to close my account... with absolutely no reasons, I'm a normal person and have done nothing wrong to them or somebody else.. I don't use ebay I just received some money from some friends of mine... and here you go, I have my money blocked at paypal for HALF A YEAR (180 days), they don't reply to emails, calling them make no sense as nobody will help you etc etc.... People, STOP using papal!!!!!! Stay AWAY from paypal if you want your money to be safe!!!"

"My Complaint Case # PP-003-175-836-493 is conluded against my request as "Paypal were unable to
recover any funds from the seller's account" even if the item (mobile phone) is not delivered to me, due to customs regulations in Turkey.

I can clearly state that I do not need an organization like Paypal which is far behind protecting me, and far behind resolving any financial problem on transactions in nearly 2 months time. You do not need to work with online trasaction companies like PAYPAL because they will never protect you on financial transactions and you will never need to involve this sort of companies in your businesses.

Do not work with Paypal and do not trust them to protect you when you are frauded by Chinese Online Stores such as www.geekbuying.com

"First, I agree with everything I have read here about the problems with PayPal. But I wonder how many have had this experience - several months ago I was looking for a particular shoe but was having trouble finding it in my size. I finally found a site with it and was thrilled! I thought the "check out" process was a little weird but figured it was just something I had never seen before. The only acceptable payment for this site was PayPal. And you couldn't even pay on the website, you had to respond to an email invoice. I never again heard from the seller. No acknowledgement of payment, no email confirming shipping, etc. I started sending emails to them and all went unanswered. It didn't take long to realize I had been taken for a ride so I reported it to Paypal who, as normal, put a 10 day delay because they "have to be fair to the seller." I basically called them everyday complaining that when a business falls off the planet, they have cheated you. I finally got my money refunded and I thought I was very lucky that I was able to find another shop with the shoes I was looking for. SAME THING ALL OVER AGAIN, except that this dealer let you pay PayPal through their own website. So it is now very obvious to me - DO NOT do business with any company that ONLY allows PayPal payments. I did twice, and twice they tried to screw me over."

"PayPal's customer service is among the worst I have experienced. After looking for a solution to my problem, I emailed customer service through the site. It requested a detailed description of my issue, which I provided.

I received an automated reply with links to keyword-generated help topics that a robot decided might relate to my issue. At the bottom were directions that if I still needed help, I should reply and explain (indicating that my previous detailed inquiry had never been seen by a human, nor would it be).

I replied, and yet again gave a detailed description of my need. I got a response, ostensibly from a human, but that human had clearly not bothered to read my email as their reply was essentially the same generic list of possible solutions, and did not address my actual problem at all.

Absolutely terrible, and NOT the kind of company I want to trust with financial matters.
