"After placing my order and paying for it, I received an e-mail from PetCareRX that my order was significantly modified (from 22 items to 8). One minute later, they charged my credit card for the modified order. I contacted them right away and requested that my order be canceled if the complete order could not be fulfilled. They advised that there were quantity limitation, but their online ordering platform did not clearly state any limitation and the order was completed successfully. They also said that they could not cancel the order. PetCareRX called me numerous times asking for my pets name and asking if I wanted to sign up for their PetPlus program, by they couldn't take the time to call a potentially loyal customer to advise that their order had been modified and ask if they still wanted to proceed with the order with the reduced quantity. To change a customer's order once it is placed, resulting in a higher price, is unfair and not a good business practice. Additionally, the e-mail stated that they would not charge the shipping fee due to the reduced order, but they did. That resulted in me having to both e-mail (no response was ever received) and call the company at least three times. The representatives I spoke to on all occasions were not customer service oriented and seemed bothered by the call. The customer service I received from PetCareRX is the worst I have ever received from an online merchant. I am a loyal Chewy customer and that it were I will continue to go to for my pet care needs. Between prescription food, medication, supplies and toys (for both my personal pet and donations to a local rescue), I spend thousands of dollars a year. PetCareRX lost a potential customer over a small matter that could have been very easily resolved with good customer service and support. My advice is to take lessons from Chewy if you want to be successful.
The motto on their webpage states "At PetCareRX.com, we are not happy unless you are 100% satisfied." I am 0% satisfied with how my order was handled.
