"I was a PetPlus member for five years. They advertise a cost of $49.99 for a one-pet annual membership, but that appears to be for only the first year. Renewals are $139.95, and they don't disclose this when they notify you that your account renewal is due!

I have also found that their prices have gone up on the few items I have ordered. The prices were really attractive for the first few years, but now I can find the same prescription products locally for within a few dollars of the PetPlus price. With the high membership cost, I'm actually losing money!"
