"The email that I sent to Customer Service would explain it best:
I placed an order for dog food - #E1393724 - on September 16. I had originally added my local vet as the vet to contact because your system did not name the vet at UC Davis Small Animal Hospital, who originally wrote a prescription (of which I have an electronic copy).
It turns out that you had listed a vet at my local vet hospital who had retired, and the hospital asked that we pick up a written prescription and mail it to you - which is what I was trying to avoid given that the pet food I was ordering was very hard to find, and you had it in stock.
To make a long story short, the next day I called your customer service line, explained the situation, gave the rep the UC Davis information (including the vet's name) and asked that you contact them. The rep assured me that this would take place, and at that point the food was still in stock.
In the meantime, I received an offer to join your PetPlus program, which I accepted believing that I would be ordering a recurring subscription for this food.
Since that time I have spoken with your customer service line 6 times. Three times, I called because the call to the vet was not being made. Each time I was assured that the call would be made to the vet.
Then I started getting automated calls saying that you were "missing information" and that the order would be processed when I updated the record. Of course, there was absolutely no mention of what that information was. I called back, learned that the information was "the vet's first name", which I gave.
I then got another automated call, repeating the same "missing information" message. I selected the option to speak with a rep and - guess what? - was told that you didn't have "the vet's first name". I gave the rep the name as well an earful of how lousy my experience had been.
I just received another automated call, with a message that you were "missing information".
I am sick and tired of this crap. This has been - far and away, without a doubt, and not even close - the absolute worst experience that I have had with any online pet food/prescription outlet ever. In fact, it has been the worst experience ever with any company - online or otherwise.
Please cancel my pending order and refund my PetPlus membership fee. It is clear that I am never going to get this prescription taken care of, and I have absolutely no interest in attempting to work with your company on anything. I cannot even begin to describe how pathetic your company has performed.
