Took over two weeks to send my frozen food for my fish and I needed to send them an email telling them that if I didn’t get a tracking number on my shipment I was going to contact my credit card company to cancel transaction!!! They take the money out right away and don’t ship until you threaten them! Then I was missing my seaweed from the order which I was still charged for!!!! My advice, even if you pay alittle more locally it’s better than being screwed on an order that takes several weeks to get ! I will never order again from them"
"Order took weeks to ship then arrived incomplete missing the main items that I needed and the only reason I ordered the other items was to first try to get free shipping which is impossible with their intentionally misleading policy. Had I known the items I needed were out of stock I would never have agreed to the rest of the order then they wanted to charge me for shipping again to provide the items that should have been included in the first place. The customer service was rude, condescending, and unwilling to help in any way to resolve the service issues. There are plenty cheaper websites that actually have free shipping for any order over $50 with prompt order fulfillment and delivery. I hope nobody makes the same mistake of ordering anything from Pets Warehouse. From the other reviews it is clear that others have had similarly bad experiences with this company and I only wish I had read these reviews sooner."

"Bought and paid for 10 items (pet snacks), then got a series of runarounds. First the order was delayed because they said the shipment from the manufacturer (Purina Meow Mix Brushing Bites) was "damaged". I had to contact them after the ship time had elapsed. Then I received a couple of emails that stated an order change which I thought related to late shipping. What they had done was reduced the quantity to 5 without changing the order total which I didn't realize until I received the shipment. They effectively doubled the price posted on their website. They made no effort to credit my card for the reduced quantity - pretty basic stuff. Their actions could suggest false advertising, internet fraud, or just sloppy business practices. I'm not saying the first two suggestions are fact, but I'm positive the latter is absolute. They are sending me a label to return the shorted order which means they could have my funds for six weeks. Too bad because these clowns' actions give smaller online retailers a bad rep."

The phone recording said that unfortunately no one was available (this in a minday morning at 9 am cdt). The recording said to send an email. I did that. "I ordered live aquarium plants from them and when the order arrived it was missing a portion and several items were damaged. I emailed that day and 2 others over a week later attempting to get my situation rectified. They finally accidentally responded to me with an internal email stating for some to email or call this "crybaby". They never reached out so I went to the BBB and they refunded the missing portion, stated I didn't order plants that I showed them I did and said I wasn't worth dealing with as I wasn't knowledgeable. They weren't even knowledgeable enough to know what I ordered or admit it went it was sent to them. They also gave wrong information about plant care and refused to fix or acknowledge their mistake. Never use them, worst quality and customer service ever in my 30 years buying live aquarium plants. STAY AWAY"

I placed my order on Feb, 6th. I kept checking my order for an update, for the next 10 days my account kept saying that my item has not left the warehouse yet. Confused, I contacted customer service. They emailed me back and told me they'll "check tomorrow" yes, I emailed on a Sunday night- but then (the best practice would be to) just don't respond until Monday with an answer. RUDE. When they finally did get back to me, they were INAPPROPRIATE, rude, and VERY condescending- telling me "we can just cancel the order. Shall we?" When I demanded an explanation for my order not being fulfilled.
Ridiculous customer service, EMBRACING practice.
Update:: When I left a review on Google (the same as above), they noted that I "extorted" them. I let them know if I do not get my package at all, I will be leaving a "**** review for **** customer service." Which is EXACTLY what I experienced.
In reading their other reviews on Google, you can tell they are EXTREMELY condescending and rude. Everything is the customers fault. Lots of people are having the same issue- place order with no fulfillment. "
