I ordered a 5d mark2 and l lenses on friday. The order was over 6k after they insisted that i buy there overpriced filters and memory. The money came out of my account in less than an hour. I was skeptical that they even had the camera in stock since everyone else is backordered. As it turns out they have a F rating with BBB and are known for selling gray market products. They even sold me a 3 year warranty to cover the product which literally has no value since canon won't even cover the 1 year warranty let alone any other repairs after from gray market goods. I reconsidered and called to cancel the order. They blatantly lied and told me it was already shipped and to send it back no problem. I knew they were full of it when there was no tracking number. BLATANT LIES! I called them on it and told them I would dispute the charges and wasn't going to accept receipt so that they couldn't charge me the restocking fees and "free shipping". They backed down and said they would issue a refund. It is 2 days later and my bank hasn't seen it. I called them and they told me they had done it and sent me emails about it. Bottom line still out 6k with no goods to show and leaving on a trip with no camera gear. You can buy from anyone. Learn from my mistake and look at the other reviews and buy somewhere else. HANDS DOWN WORST ONLINE TRANSACTION EVER. "

"I purchased a new Canon PowerShot SD780. This was a replacement for a Canon SD550 (Water damaged after being caught in a downpour).
I did internet research to determine what camera would meet me specific needs then just a few more clicks to see who had the best price!
Photo Loon advertised a better then competitive price. I was even more pleased to discover their price had come down even further when I actually purchased the camera.
Photo Loon had knowledgable individuals available to assist via phone. The camera was delivered in a timely manner and the transaction could not have been easier.
Now that I know about Photo Loon, I will contact them at the onset of my search instead of waiting until I am ready to get pricing."

"Ordered a high value lens from PhotoLoon with some bit of worry because I'd never heard from them before. But, they had the lowest price (by far) so I took a chance.
I received a call confirming my order and was asked if I needed anything else. They recommended a UV filter and offered a nice glass one at the price of a lower quality filter and upgraded my shipping. Yes, I was upsold, but the deal offered was well worth it.
I received the order several days before my original shipping method chosen. I have since recommended PhotoLoon to my wife and a couple of my friends. And, I know my wife has referred a couple of her friends as well.
I hope they can keep their business model (and customer satisfaction) high."

"TOTAL SCAM.
Attempted to order Canon Rebel Xsi with kit lens online. Sales person called the next day to 'inform' me that the camera shipped with a 'trial' battery and I would definately need to replace it with one of their over-priced units. Of course, Canon does not make a trial battery so this was a blatant lie and an attempt to sell me what was already in the box (if there was a box). I declined the battery 'offer' and the sales guy proceeded to quote me a new price for the camera. Amazing. Must be hard to live a life as this type of scum. To each his own I guess."

Actually I ordered with us1camera, but invoice was from photo loon, hmm.. this the same company I guess. Shipping took more time than should, but still I can say than I am very satisfied."

"I had a bad experience with Photoloon after I purchased a camera. It turned out that they couldn't ship to my wife's dad's address, as that address was not stored on my credit card.

I called the bank, but they couldn't add an address, so I had to call the Photoloon back and got new instructions - to authorise the shipping in written and to scan and send my card. After I did all this I still got a message few days later saying that my order was cancelled. I needed that camera to arrive on time, so I had to buy somewhere else and pay for express shipping."
