"I went shopping today with my 3 year old daughter at the Elbow Dr location. We walked in and two girls said "Hi", which was nice but for the rest of the visit it felt very awkward. I asked to see a dressing room to try on a few items, the girl that helped was great but there was another girl close by sorting cloths who did not seem impressed at all that I had my daughter with me. She just stared her down while we were in the dressing room. There was no "hi how are you today" or even a smile. I stared back to wait for some sort of response of maybe a little kindness, but she just looked at me and looked away. I've never felt so awkward, I felt like i did something wrong by just being there. It was a terrible experience, I will never shop at Plato's Closet again because of today. "
"Didn’t take any of my name brand clothes that are all unworn and great condition, also only got back one shoe. Definitely not going back after this. "
"Too much to even list but will definitely never return."
"I shop here for myself and my two daughters and we love it!"
"it's just them deceving people ,it is not true ,i brought it my clothes .brand new clothes ,priced at $250 and they only gave me $ 10 its just funny ,come on, omg and they cut the label.thanks"
"I took in brand new gowns and dresses they took them all off the hangers and shoved them in a garbage bag, made me wait 20 minutes and then handed me the bag and said they were too high end for them to sell when I went to put them back on the hangers I noticed that 3 of the dresses now had busted zippers!! "
"They don't carry enough plus size clothes and wont really except any. I seen Nike knock off for $75. But wouldn't take my Michael Kors purses. won't do business there again with inexperienced appraisers."
"I went into the store today with two containers of Bradley pocketbooks the store is run buy a bunch of young girls under the age of 25 when I went in I was told just sat down the containers they would text me in 25 minutes to let me know if they were interested to look around and see what they had for sale while I waited I wasn't looking for anything so I just browsed a little bit and I kept an eye on the containers that we had taken in no one looked at anything in the containers except for one pocket book they told me 10 minutes later to get in line that they were ready and I was told that they were too old and they weren't going to buy them some of the pocket books in there work brand new never even been used had just been purchased you could fingerprint the stuff that I took in there and see that nobody looked at anything in the container I guess that was because they didn't think they were going to make a cell so they didn't want to purchase anything that I had I will not be recommending this door to anyone I will most likely be recommending that no one goes there that I know because the clothes in there we're not up to date either there was a lot that wouldn't have even been bought by anybody that I know right now"
"I go into Platos to browse, not really looking for anything in particular. But i always seem to find something that i can not live without!! The store is well organized, clean and very well stocked."
"Very good quality! I always find everything I want "
"Went into this store they don't honor their receipts. They claimed they give out 2 receipts which they DON'T. I can't give you 2 if I was only issued 1 receipt with your store name an merchandise purchased For an EXCHANGE. They refuse to EXCHANGE although I had proof.. That's a rip OFF!!! Even a thrift store will EXCHANGE with a receipt and all tags attached. How sad to loose customer's over an EXCHANGE."
"My daughter felt like she had to go there to find a dress, so I figured we would go on a head and check it out, while my teenagers shopped around I approached the front counter to ask about the buying process, there were 3 girls at the counter. I stood there while they argued with eachother, and completely ignored me. Just as I thought one was turning around to greet me and ask what I needed the two who were arguing walked from behind the counter right past me and out the front door. The other turned the opposite way and headed toward the dressing rooms. Are you kidding me!?!? SO I looked around the store, until yet another girl came up to the counter. I asked her to explain to me the buying policy. She game me a flier and said these are the items we are looking for, and brand names. And we don't make up the prices for them. For example a $20 pair of jeans you will get maybe $3 or $4 for them. I said okay so how do you look up the prices? She said, if it is a good brand and style and condition. So I looked down at the flier she handed me and when I looked up to ask another question she was gone. Where do they find these people? Their racks consisted of ugly worn out sweat pants, faded flannel shirts, that they were charging $16 dollars for, street walker clothes, stripper shoes an some run down Nike shoes that still had mud encased in the bottoms. Most of the things there you could have bought by the pound at the Goodwill bins. In fact that was my next stop and I found way nicer things, several items, in better condition and I payed less then $16.00 for all of it. I cannot believe this place is even in business what a joke. Gresham, Oregon location."
"After reading the requirements and taking note of all the brands they were looking for, I made a detailed selection of my closet. I carried two medium bags full of clothes, Guess, Amercan Eagle, Michael Kors, Tommy, Levy's. When I came back, they told me they would just take a pair of Reebok's sneakers and offered me $ 3, for a completely new classic model! I thought I hadn't understood when she said $ 3 I was completely shocked. I asked him to return my shoes. I meditated on the subtle way of stealing. If you take your clothes or anything else to Value Village at least you receive a 25% coupon"
"Best place ever, come here every weekend with my friends. "
"I love this place it has great stuff for low prices!"
