Priceline has a Worst customer service, called about my car rental reservation Firefly

"Priceline forgot to include extra $20.50 driving permit fee, even it stated on reservation all taxes and fees are included in $35. That is a not true. First car I got besides many visible damages, not just scratches or dents, it was some serious damage on both doors and frond. As soon as I drove away car stop running, I had to return and got another damaged car, but at least was running. Also , on reservation it should be mentioned that holding fee on our credit card is $1500 sa not everyone will have that kind of limit on their credit card. I just spend 1 hour 17 minutes on the phone with Priceline customer service, spoke to jane CR 5260304; Claire supervisor 5260214 na no one could explain what is included in $35 fees and why $20.50 additional fee was not on the main line of extra charges in my reservation.
Very bad experience. When I was returning the car , during very heavy rain storm , to my surprise on the Firefly door sign said go to hertz. I did, returned my car there, asked why i had a such a old bit up 2 cars, the answer, was, those cars from hertz which were no longer used by hertz due to damage and mileage. So if you want a car which does not run, please rent from Firefly! Terrible experience. Priceline has a worst customer service. Reservation For Firefly in Grand Caymans

Can’t seem to manage their business

"Made reservations fine; checked into hotel but the Priceline payment to the hotel was rejected. Spent over an hour with both hotel and me on the phone with Priceline - got disconnected multiple times. Will not be using Priceline again. This was a disruption to our plans and caused a great deal of stress as we were traveling for a memorial service. Will NOT use Priceline again."

Had to pay a cancellation but I couldnt get car

"I went to get the car I that I reserved at Priceline but I couldnt get because I didnt have a credit card . They charge me any way.So i call and they said I had to cancel reservation. So they charge a cancel fee of 18 dollars. Customer service was terrible, I shouldnt be charge a fee if i didnt get the car period."

A Nightmare from hell

"Thanks for the roach infested hotel for my anniversary with drug additics running through it was told by your agents that it was a great hotel a lot of people book it all the time BIG LIE so the hotel refunded my money and priceline is playing with my refund. To top it off the customer service agents had no empathy and hung up on me about 3 times. Never again ill rather book through one of the crackheads that was running around the hotel then you guys. ."

Horrible experience

"I booked a hotel room to be able to attend my Sister's wedding. Prior to the wedding a family emergency arose that forced me to alter my travel plans. Even though I had plenty to notice to cancel my reservations, neither Priceline.com or the hotel - Extended Stay America in Raleigh/Cary, NC were willing to help me. Thus, I have been forced to pay for a room that I am unable to stay in. This is a TERRIBLE policy. I do not recommend Priceline.com or Extended Stay America to anybody!!!"

Beware of Priceline's lowest price

"Priceline conducts business in a horribly dishonest manner.
Priceline advertised $20 rental car per day. I reserved a car for 5 days, and was charged $71.52 for taxes and fees (71%.)
Furthermore, they allowed you to indicate special requests. I requested a booster seat. They did not disclose the additional charge for the booster seat.
Finally, the rental car reservation is non-cancellation and non-refundable.
Afterwards, I was told to pay $13 extra per day for the booster seat.
In conclusion, I had to pay more than $47 per day for a rental car through Priceline whereas I could pay $32 directly from a rental car company.
This was my first and also my last time doing business with Priceline.

Renaissance Newport Beach VIA PRICELINE

"At Renaissance in Newport Beach. Booked room from priceline that has the hotel rated at a 4+ Star hotel. We found lots of black hair in the bathtub which was gross but we just washed it down, but when we found the same black hair in large clumps on the shower walls?!? No thank you. I called down to the front desk and the receptionist said "I'm sorry..." when I told her what was going on... really is that the best you can do??? DISAPPOINTED

FYI bring your own cleaning supplies if you want a clean bathroom.

*****UPDATE*****
When we left for dinner at 6:45 I approached the front desk with the photos of the dirty shower. The two girls did agree that the hair all over the walls was very gross and said they can send housecleaning up there for a “DEEP CLEAN” while we were out. Great send them up. We got back to our room at 10:15. Bathroom had not been touched. I called down to the front desk and told the women what was going on. I recounted to her that I’d previously called down to inform them, then later went down to the front desk myself to show them pictures and was told the room would be clean. We’re now back at our room at 10:15 at night with young children needing to be cleaned and the shower is still filthy. She got me a manager who was able to see a work order was put in to clean our room at 6:48 and it never got done. She told me they take this very seriously and will definitely look into the situation..... I said “look into it??! You put us in a dirty room. When I provided you photos the bathroom was not clean you said you’d clean it, but yet it’s still not done and it’s after 10 pm!” Stuff happens I could see how that might be overlooked and I was cool with it thinking they’d take care of it. I was okay with the room getting clean while we were out. But to come back to our room and nothing had been cleaned is absolutely garbage service. There’s really no excuse. Her pitiful offer to us was they could send the housecleaning up now..... yes, please send them up at 10:30 for something that never should have been a problem. Then when it was brought to your attention you did nothing... let me keep my young children up even later while you clean our bathroom at 10:30?? Really?? I’m ashamed I brought my family here..

I was just told BY Renaissance Newport Beach "I never gave them the opportunity to correct the issue or brought it to their attention" ?????????????

1.The call at 4PM to tell the front desk the bathroom was filthy. Didn't count........

2. Me going to the front desk in person with photos of the filthy bathroom at 6:45 PM in which the lady at the front desk put in a work order to clean the bathroom while we were at dinner apparently didn't count either......

3. Then when we returned 10:15 to find our bathroom STILL had not be cleaned as promised by the front desk women. I requested to speak with the on call manager who "confirmed the work order had been put in but was never completed." APPARENTLY THAT DIDN'T COUNT EITHER???????????

PLEASE ADVICE ME RENAISSANCE NEWPORT BEACH - WHAT MORE I SHOULD HAVE DONE TO GET A CLEAN BATHROOM???

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE SERVICE. SHAMEFUL AND EMBARRASSING

PRICELINE GUARANTEES THE LOWEST RATE- NOT

"Priceline guarantees on their website the lowest rate on hotel rooms or they refund 100% of the difference.

When I checked out of my hotel, the price was $20 less than what priceline charged me. Priceline did not adjust accordingly .

Their customer service was useless. I could not find anyone with English as a first language or even a strong second language. They claim to have some weasle words in their fine print that negates the low price guarantee.

To Priceline: you should be ashamed of your deceptive business practices.

Priceline - Bait and Switch - No refund

"I reserved a 3-star hotel. When I arrived the hotel said they didn't have a room and sent me down the street to a room with stained mattresses, filthy sheets and moldy walls. Priceline refused to give me my money back.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

"Reserved a room thru Priceline at the Days Inn in Greeley CO. When I arrived at the property it was nothing like the reviews had stated. I spoke with a front desk person named Toni. She checked me in and I went into to my room. It had been a long day so I immediately laid on the bed. About 4 minutes later I felt something bite me! I immediately pulled the blankets back and what I saw was disgusting! The sheets were so worn out and used that you could clearly see the wear and teat on them, they were dingy and there were several black specs on the sheets. I cannot be for sure if they were bed bugs or not but I was not about to get close enough to investigate considering I had a red bite mark on my chest. I immediately grabbed my bag and went down stairs to ask for a refund. The front desk lady immediately told me they could not issue me a refund, I asked to speak with a manager and she went up stairs to check the room. Stated there were no bed bugs and I could not get my money back. Again I asked to speak with a manager which she did call, I could hear her conversation and she was laughing telling the manager I wanted a refund because of bed bugs. She took down my phone number and said the manager would call me later that evening. I received no call from the manager so tried again that evening and was told she would be in in the morning. At that point I was upset so I called priceline. I asked the agent why they would promote a hotel like this and asked them to help me get a resolution. The agent stated if I did not get a call back from the manager to call back in the morning. No call from the manager so I called priceline again. When I spoke with the new agent she contacted the facility stated she spoke with the manager and that they would not issue me a refund because the manager claim she called and offered me another room. THAT NEVER HAPPENED! I never received a call back from the manager let alone speak with her, and the front desk girl blatantly told me I would not receive a refund. When I told the priceline agent this was not true she simpliy stated she was sorry for my inconvience but that they would not be able to issue me the refund either. I felt this was highly innapropriate customer care. Bed bugs is nothing to play with! I took pictures of the bite mark I had. Do not book thru PRICELINE! "

DO NOT USE PRICELINE

"DO NOT USE PRICELINE. Use any other booking site EXCEPT PRICELINE.

I booked my fiance, my aunt, my Uncle and my own hotel/flight reservations over about 2 weeks ago. Same time and same credit card. Called The hotel the day after booking (So on a Monday), they have ZERO sign of my hotel room but have my Aunt/Uncles. I call Priceline, they said it can take 48 hours. Okay.

Call back Wednesday. STILL NO SIGN OF MY RESERVATION. I call Priceline again. This time they said can take 7 days. Uhhh..okay.

I call the hotel today. Guess what? STILL NO RESERVATION. Aunt and Uncle's, there. Mine? Nope.

I call Priceline again. I get the closest thing to a manager they would transfer me to and he tells me, they have to resend over all the paperwork and it can take another 48 hours!

Can't get BOTH hotel reservations to the hotel in a timely manner but have ZERO problem running my credit card I see!

Unacceptable! I will MAKE SURE none of the 40-60 guests for my wedding use Priceline. This is my first and LAST time EVER using Priceline.

worst expierence ever

"to start off the phone number they have for customer service isn't even someone you can physically speak to the only way you can speak to a live representative is through a chat which obviously not the same thing. I had to file several complaints until one of the representative that I chatted with online decided to provide me with a number that I can speak to a live person. i spoke to olga regarding priceline not stating that the rooms are pre paid unless the room states that there is no cancelation which the website or hotel can charge you the full price the time of booking. This is very unacceptable especially with new customers that they are benefiting from getting they cant even provide with all the details of the booking the customer has to basically assume that they will be charged of the booking. Horrible website, if you want to not be informed as to what it is that you're booking and not be able to get in contact with a live person until they decide to provide a valid phone number instead of an automated machine hanging up without resolving anything. will never book again with this website and will make sure that everyone knows what i went through so they don't have to go through this experience "
