Worst trip/booking ever

"Booked a flight and rental car. When I arrived to the airport the rental car agency was closed. I called Priceline and NEVER got a live person. I was in another state stuck with no transportation. I'll never use Priceline again."

Thieves

"Stole my Daughters money and cancelled her flights.

My daughter, (20 yrs. old), is a CNA at a hospital in Michigan. She had saved up to buy plane tickets to North Carolina and back to Michigan to see me, (her dad), on her Birthday weekend. I ended up getting some time off from work so I went up to Michigan shortly before her trip. I told her she should ride with me down to North Carolina so she could experience the Mountains and see some cool, new things and then take her return flight home. She contacted Priceline and let them know that she would be driving down and was also trying to see if she could get some of her money back for those flights. They informed her that she would have to cancel all of her flights to receive anything back, we understood. Shortly after getting to North Carolina we received an email from Priceline that they had canceled my daughters return flights because she didn't make the flights down and they would not be returning any of her money. After several phone calls between Priceline and United Airlines, (United Airlines, Where the guy laughed at my daughter and hung up the phone on her), we finally found out that it was in Priceline's policy to keep your money and cancel your return flights, even though you paid for them.

I had to purchase a new return flight for her and they did nothing.

They took my money right after I booked

"I chose a booking to pay at hotel and after I booked i checked my account and my was taken. I contacted them they told me I chose a pre-paid trip and I told them thats not what I wanted the said they would have someone call me back and no one still haven't called me and I'm sure it has to do with me saying I want to cancel trip. So then they tried to make me feel like there's nothing they can do when I just made the reservation and your telling me you can do anything but you take my money now we have a problem. Don't use there service go somewhere else save your time and money with out the head aches "

Never Again

"I booked a package (flight and car) for brothers funeral. I had to cancel and rebooked because my spouse was coming too. I sent on and canceled by the timeframe that was given and rebooked the whole package again with an extra person. They refunded me for the flight only and not the car for the regular package. They said that you had to go somewhere else and cancel the car. When I purchase the package nothing no where said that I need to go somewhere else to cancel the car. If there was something that said that the car was not canceled in the first place I would not rebook another car for the same timeframe. When I called them , they basically said "So sad to bad" "

Do not use Priceline!

"Priceline lacks integrity and is unethical. I booked air travel through Priceline for Iberia Airlines in a package. My trip was cancelled due to Covid-19. Priceline and Iberia kept playing hot potato with me and would not refund me or give me credit! They refunded 2 friends of mine who were on the same exact trip. I made over 35 phone calls, sent many emails to Priceline! I finally filed a dispute in May. The dispute was lifted in June and they still won't refund me! I want my $1,060. that I paid for refunded. My trip #20627855340 & #20738100320. Priceline is not customer friendly. Do not use Priceline!"

Horrible!

"Absolutely the worst experience booking a vacation/ honeymoon ever! Just to get this out of the way I am on my 33rd international vacation. It starts out with delta canceling our flight. I then contact priceline to book a new flight they tell me "I can't because Delta has a very strict cancelation policy".....um they canceled my flight. After 2 hours of being on the phone they finally agree to refund my $915.00. 5 weeks later here I am writing this review with no refund. I've called and emailed the company CEO down to customer service. Honestly have better things to do other waste close to 6 hours of my time chasing my refund. Then it gets even better ....ready for this....priceline bait and switch BS. I book an all inclusive resort. Priceline webpage and the emailed itinerary state all inclusive resort. When get here they tell us no you only paid for the breakfast only plan!! Horrible experience never again. Also please be aware that they also own and Booking.com, Priceline.com, Agoda.com, Kayak.com, Cheapflights, Rentalcars.com, Momondo, and OpenTable all under Booking Holdings. Book direct pay a little more safe yourself the headache! "

If I could give them a zero I would!

"Due to covid19 Priceline canceled my hotel, but that's all they canceled. Flights and car they stated couldn't be canceled, or modified. I had to call the airlines to obtain my refunds. I booked for a month later and Priceline stated they couldn't even change the pickup date for the car. The supervisor then said sorry if his help wasnt good enough. "

Just Giving Them money for literally nothing

"24 hours ago, I booked a car rental through Priceline. After review 16 hours later, I realized I put my name on the rental and not my wife's. I contacted them and they said there is nothing we can do. You can cancel and we can STEAL $18 from you....it's our policy.

This is just the garbage you deal with when you book through priceline. They are hot, stinky garbage and have no customer service or moral compass. May you rot in eternal hell with your $18.

No refund

"Due to the COVID-19, Hawaii has been under selter-in-place order. We cannot go to Hawaii as planned, so I canceled my hotel booking on Priceline. I talked to a customer support when canceling, who said they can refund my booking fee. But after 2 months, they send me an email noticing me that there won't be any refund. I am very frustrated. They lie to customers and don't care customers at all."

Scam

"Scam!!! Beware! Company advertised hotel room for $40 once we proceeded to checkout price jumped to $60 we decided to proceed since that was still a decent rate. Upon booking I went to confirm my reservation to find out they booked to a hotel not even in the same city or town they had advertised, being shocked I went to check my bank and noticed a charge now for $87.50!! Wait what? I could not believe that we fell for a bait and switch! Get on the horn to this Priceline company first agent claims they cannot cancel my reservation since the hotel already took my payment. He tells me he has tried to contact the hotel but no one is picking up I made final request to have the reservation cancelled he informed me I would have to call a number and speak with a rep, the number he gives me is an automated machine it says I have no reservation based on my reservation number so we try our phone number still does not recognize. Same recording over and over with no option for customer service, get back on chat with this guy he tells me there is nothing he can or will do since the hotel is not answering final request made to cancel he refuses to do so. I ended that chat session get on the horn with hotel, second ring a lady picks up I explain what has transpired and she tells me she's been at the desk all night noone has called, she contacts her manager but needs Priceline to contact them so I start another chat session a new guy comes on has no idea about my file so I explain it all again to him he now refuses to contact the hotel and informs me the hotel will charge me the full fee to cancel so I get back on the phone with the hotel they inform me no we never received any calls but our manager is willing to cancel your reservation no fee on our end. Go back to chat same guy says to me the hotel took your money there is no way for us to refund since we already paid them then disconnects chat I receive an email from Priceline saying to call this same automated service keep in mind we have already called 5 times in between all the other contact. We have never dealt with this company nor will we EVER AGAIN anyone should avoid at all cost they simply scam you, not only is it Bait and Switch they legit steal your money, lie their way through unfounded grounds, and simply do not provide a service. "

Bad service

"I literally had clicked book and after they took my money they told me my flight was booked. Trying to get through to customer service was literally like pulling teeth. They had been absolutely no help what so ever. The automated machine "Trying to help" is bad. My whole overall experience is bad. I only give them one star because I cant give them less. They say funds will be returned in 1-3 business days but its quick enough when pay for it right? So stupid."

Flight changed, priceline did not notify customer

"My flight was changed 3 days before my scheduled trip without notification from Priceline. I was told of the change by the airline after I went to the airport for my original flight the change was noted by Priceline. I had hotels booked at the same time with the flight. However, since I was not notified of the flight changed, I was not able to change my hotel until the day of. Priceline customer service told me they absolutely cannot change my reservation or give me a refund even though it was their fault that I was not notified of the change in my flight. Horrible customer service. Will not use again!!!"
