"My friend who was visiting me, left the Tampa Airport on Silver Airways that I had booked for her through Priceline.com. After an hour of a run around, Priceline saying the Airlines was supposed to honor the ticket and the Airline said Priceline was liable not them. The Supervisor, Magadelana who was probably from another country, was rude, curt, insolent and said that they could not honor the ticket because TSA had held her up at made her miss her flight. She arrived at the airport at 4:15pm for a 6:05pm flight from Tampa to Pensacola. NEVER BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH PRICELINE.COM they are crooks, I had to spend $132.00 for her hotel and $289.00 for a new one way ticket. They are the WORST. Do not EVER book a flight through an agent go directly to the airlines."
"Will never do business with Priceline again!!!! I purchased a 4 star hotel and received a 2 star. Had to change rooms 3 times because of heat issues, final room received had inoperable heater for 5 days. Room was dirty, stained walls, asked housekeeping to clean them and was told to request through maintenance, not housekeeping. Bathroom was dirty and had mold in the shower. Called priceline 1st night there and was told they'd offer a refund that night only. It was marathon weekend with all hotels booked so we had no choice to stay. New york city with no heat and dirty room!!! Also, priceline said hotel would charge $160.64 for hotel fees. I was charged $200 upon arrival and another $241.87 a week after check out. NOONE will call back or return messages"
"I Reserved the car through Priceline for $65 for two days which are nonrefundable, went to the airport they said they were not able to find the reservation even though I have provided all details, then they made a new reservation for $120. When I called the Priceline, they were asking me to send the receipt from car rental and said it will take 10 days for enquiry and then they will refund the money. Guess what on second day they sent an email that they were unable to refund the amount because the Priceline reservation was active on the day i was about to pick up the car.... this is insane and worst customer service...."
"I always said that Priceline did right by me and enthusiastically recommended them. Until they outright lied and did me 100% wrong.
We booked a 3 star hotel - that was 1 star in reality!! Dirty, toilets didn't work, tv didn't work, horrible staff, everything was wrong with it. We had pre-booked it for 3 days and were not prepared to stay 1 day. Priceline refused to refund the stay or let us out of the additional days. They said the hotel needed to do that and they would ask for us. They called back and said that the hotel refused. We insisted since the hotel was so horrific (we reserved a 3 and got a 1) but they adamantly refused.
We went to the hotel later and asked to be let out of the reservation. The hotel was irritated saying they already told Priceline okay several times!!!!!!!!
So Priceline flat out lied to us, refused to assist for no reason, and apparently has an untrustworthy star system.
With SO MUCH trust broken I don't know how I can trust them again. On top of all that, you can't leave reviews unless invited to leave one. I found that out when I wanted to rave about a hotel and couldn't. But it also means I can't warn people about this horrible one or lower their rating.
So I have to say, Priceline might do you right, but they will just as easily do you wrong - for no reason. "
"I did an order from Price-line to hotel in Las Vegas. The thing is that they always write in the payment summery if more fee (resort fee) should be pay at the hotel. I choose the hotel I've booked within my budget so the final price was suit to me and it didn't had a resort fee. The final price was paid fully to them. But than when i checked out the hotel charged me over $221 resort fee!! I was choked as it is a lot of money and i go with this hotel as it didn't had a resort fee mention as Price Line always do.
I contacted Price line with no help of course and they just send me to their fine print that of course cover them.
Very bad experience."
"I recently had to take the family 3-states away to attend my wife's mothers funeral. I found a hotel large enough to accommodate us and booked it through Priceline. We arrived on the appropriate date, got our two rooms and had to leave a credit card for incidentals. We left the morning after the funeral early, just dropping our room keycards off on our way out. When we received our credit card bill, Priceline and the hotel billed us. After a quick call to the hotel I found out that Priceline never noted on the confirmation that was sent to the hotel that it was pre-paid.
So....After 1hr and 20 mins on the phone it was straightened out. The experience was not fun and I will never get that time back.
I will never use Priceline again and I will be sure to let everyone know that travels where I work of my experiences with Priceline."
"On the site it said free cancellation before 12am. I booked my room around 9 or 10 pm that night. My wife called and found a better deal on another hotel. I called the hotel to cancel my reservation less than 30 minutes later. The hotel told me since I booked thru Priceline they are the ones who would give me a refund. I called Priceline who gave me the run around about my refund. At first they said they had to called the hotel to see if the hotel would refund me. I told them exactly what the hotel told me. I gave priceline my number to call me back after they acted like they couldn't get in contact with the hotel. I called the hotel and asked see did Priceline reached out to them and they never heard from them. I called priceline again they had the nerve to tell me since i canceled my reservation i wasn't getting a refund because it had to be canceled 24 hrs before checking in. I booked the room Tuesday night and check in was on Wednesday. How could give a 24 hrs notice when i didn't have 24 hrs from booking to the checking in process. On the site it said free cancellation before 12am. Then they said they were going to reach out to the hotel to get my funds released back to my card. They said they were going to call me back but instead the next day they sunt me an email saying i was getting my refund back. When i called back they transferred me to another representative who put me on hold and hung up. Do not booking anything from this site. If you were at the bottom of the barrel and Priceline was your last option... look under that barrel and explore your options. DO NOT BOOK THRU PRICELINE!!!"
"Horrible......flight seats assigned for round trip JFK/Newark to/Las Vegas was directly across from the restrooms. Mmmh hours of smelling flushed toilets every minute on 5 hour flights. Never again, rather spend the $100 for a seat not directly by the toilet doors!"
"They are horrible to work with
They are horrible to work with. Talked to the “manager” that just said sorry. The would not put the book in in my name since my wife booked it. Talked to them a lot since it was a discount price they would not, not that they could not do it. They were not nice to work with"
"I booked a car rental on Priceline for a “in terminal” car. After checkout and execution of my payment the confirmation have shuttle instructions. I immediately started a chat online with Priceline trying to cancel said car with no avail. According to them “because there is an on site counter they are in terminal”. Ummmmmm no! Lies! I have rented cars 10+ times from MCO airport. You walk across the arrival lanes and get in the car! That is the definition of “in terminal”. Not getting on a shuttle. After multiple calls and chats I have been told this is still non refundable. Not ok. Never again. It was only 39$ but it is the principle that is at stake. What kind of multi billion$ company conducts business like this. As a business owner I would never treat my customers like this. Fraud is all I can call it. "
"reserved my room hotel with them at bahia Resort. First I checked the prices on the internet and priceline had the "best prices". They gave me a price but I had to recalled them because I was not sure. When I called again the prices were higher (2 minutes ago) and I was trying to reserve my room ASSAP but the woman on the phone was very slow and my prices again were more higher again! I was very angry for her inefficient service and she couldnt give me the last price. So I called again with another person and he gave me a better price. (At the same day, same company).
At the end I had to pay almost the doubble but I had to. I waste 2 hours with them!
Then, at the hotel they gave me another room (I reserved a garden view rooom and they gave me a lobby view) so I had to negotiate. And the people of the hottel told me to reserve directly with them next time because people always have similar problems.
I will never make any purchase with priceline!"
"So we arrived to this location and went directly to our room to shower immediately my wife was itching with hives down her entire body legs, face, arms etc when she went to get changed near the bed she came to me when I was coming out of the bathroom she shows me there is literally black mold coming out of the wall exposed. And as I start to look around the room I see it's everywhere- what the heck?? Black mold?? How is this facility even open when my wife went to the lobby to talk to the guy who checked us in- he refused to move us rooms and assured us it was in all of the rooms. She comes back to tell me what he said so I call the front desk and he said well it's the room you purchased I won't exchange it, nor refund the room. Then precedes to put us on hold and hangs up the phone. I come flying out of our room right to the front desk where his eyes lit up in terror. I said okay you hung up on me and we have a serious problem and you need to fix our situation. He's said I can't help you- I said how is it you can't help us when It's your facility that is the problem. We came all the way from Reno, Nevada unaware of Iowa all together. And now this guy doesn't want to move us rooms, do to their mold infestation throughout the entire hotel- The longer I stood their the longer he ignored the entire situation. He said if your not happy you can leave- I was furious that he couldn't even accommodate us with another room, neither a refund of our original price. They refused to pay us a refund, we contacted Priceline with the situation as they contracted this company as a accredited facility. Neither places feel they are reliable for the fees in which we purchased from their company. They said well you purchased a hotel that was non-refundable... Okay, well we checked it which wasn't the problem- the facility was infested with black mold that was exposed how is it that they believe our room was stay-able? I fought on the phone for over an hour with Priceline speaking to 4 different people to only be told- Will let future guest know about the situation, how does that resolve our issue?? Now we are out the purchase price of the room, and had to find another hotel to sleep in that night. Do not stay here! We both had immediate symptoms from the black mold: Exposed black mold- The most common black mold symptoms and health effects are associated with a respiratory response. Chronic coughing and sneezing, irritation to the eyes, mucus membranes of the nose and throat, rashes, chronic fatigue and persistent headaches can all be symptomatic of black mold exposure or black mold poisoning."
"Worst company to deal with! DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM. Booked a hotel with them, they confirmed but later said it wasn't available and gave me a way inferior hotel in a worse location and told me it was "even better". I refused to stay in the new hotel and went to the original one I wanted and the hotel said they had availability. I asked Priceline to transfer me back to the original hotel I wanted to which they NEVER responded in time and my WHOLE 13 night booking at the other hotel was completely cancelled because Priceline did not bother informing me that if I didnt show up the first night, it would be null. So Priceline basically just stole $3500 and won't do anything to fix other than give generic excuses. Absolutely useless customer service. They will take your money and run with it.
This company should be sued for FRAUD!"
"Don't book here they just took my money left us stranded they are advertising rooms they don't have and charging account and refusing to comp room or refund money DO NOT BOOK they are frauding people should have class action lawsuit against them me and my three year old stranded on road nowhere to go cause they took money and won't do anything I repeat avoid at all CO's PSA class action suit"
"I will never use Priceline again. Multiple times I have gone and searched for a flight this past week and it will tell me one price. Then when I go to book it, with in a few seconds of seeing it, it goes up $50-100 at check out. I called Priceline to chat with them and they said it’s due to demand. I understand demand makes a difference but it’s in seconds and it changes?! Then I go back and search again on Priceline on a new, private browser and it’s the original price. And does that whole price going up again when I try and book it. Priceline is a bunch of scammers and I will no longer be using them or recommending them. To bad, I’m in the travel agency world and often have people asking me for places to book flights. I will be sure to tell them to beware of Priceline."
