"I highly recommend never doing business with this company, unless you would like to get scammed and lied to. Their scam appears to be to bait you with a low price on a product they just happen to no longer offer. Then, they will either try to get you to buy a more expensive product or send you an inferior product for the price you already paid. If you question them, they will lie and hope the situation just goes away.

I ordered a Panasonic Lumix ZS15 from their website. The following day, I received a call on my cell phone from a blocked number. When I answered the phone, I heard people talking in the background, but nobody would say anything into the phone and after a few seconds, somebody hung up on me. I then immediately got an email saying they tried to call me and nobody answered, so I needed to call them about my order. I called them right away, and entered the extension they gave me. I then got to be on hold for 5 minutes before somebody picked the phone up and immediately hung up. I called back and was on hold for another 5 minutes before I had to hang up.

Since I was not able to get in touch with anyone, I replied to the previous email that I could not get ahold of anyone and gave them my cell phone number again. I then received another call from the blocked number and as soon as I answered the person on the other end hung up. I tried calling back a little later but they were closed.

The following day, I received an email saying my order had shipped, so I assumed whatever problem there was with my order had been taken care of.

A few days later I received the package from them. When I opened the package, they had shipped me a refurbished Lumix ZS19, which was not what I ordered.

The following day, I called them, and after my third phone call, actually got to speak with someone. I told him that they shipped me the wrong camera. He stated that they told me over the phone that the ZS15 was discontinued so they were shipping me a ZS19 instead. I told him that I never spoke with someone at his company and about being hung up on. He said that must not have been them because they wouldn't hang up on me. I told him the camera they shipped me was refurbished, and he proceeded to tell me it wasn't, despite me staring at the sticker on it that said this is refurbished. I told him I wanted a refund, so he said he would email me the forms to return it. When I received the email, the form stated that they do not pay for return shipping.

"this company PADS their reviews - worst customer service EVER. we were billed a price that was different than the original price of the item bought. THEN when we tried to get in touch with them, we couldn't. Funny how when we first placed our order we got an email saying THEY were trying to get in touch with US and we got a call right back, but when we needed to talk to them we couldn't. We then received an "invoice" with no breakdown of the items... I also noticed they changed the state in our address part - which we also tried to contact them about - for 2 hours. Either on hold, or being transferred and then hung up on. When we finally DID get a hold of someone they were unprofessional and short with us."

"My wife purchased a Nikon d600 with the Sigma 28-300mm lens to expand her photography to shoot "Full Frame". They substituted the Sigma 18-250 and told her that it works just fine. Well as most photographers know, This is not the case. We expected to get what we ordered. If I wanted a cropped sensor I would have ordered a D7100 with the lens they sent me. Now she stuck with a Cropped D600 with the lens they provided. (which is basically a VERY EXPENSIVE D7000. I talked to Steve in sales and he set up a
Wednesday delivery for the lens I ordered. As you can see its now Friday and ....~~No Lens~~..After sitting on hold all day, I finally got threw to a voice mail letting me know they are closed....UUuugggggg...***UPDATE***...Its a month now and yes, They Fixed the problem!!!!...Well Kinda..They sent me the Lens I really wanted!!..But yes, It was for a Canon not a NIKON!! Now a month in I still have a camera with no lens..I called and the Supervisor said they would overnight the correct one by,,,,YESTERDAY..Its Friday now and I have no lens for the weekend trip I am taking. I called to let them know I am DONE!!...I now have to sell this lens on my own time and purchase the one I need to complete my order. All the 5 star ratings on here must have been very lucky. I would buy from a PAWN SHOP before I would consider Primotronics ever again. I see they have a tracking your shipment on the webpage now. If they couldn't give me a tracking # for my shipment I hope they can make one up for you...

"Stay far away from this company. This place has shady written all over it. I was called a day after I placed the online order to confirm, and was given many up sell tactics. I was told the battery only last 30 min and I would need to buy replacements. I was told that I had to pay 6% insurance to ship the camera. I didn't agree to anything, and told them to cancel. The charged my card, and I have been trying for weeks to get ahold of them."

"Do not trust this website, it is just like any other that tried to up-sell you. I placed my order on Monday, the same day I got a call from them "confirming" my order. They tried to up sell me on over priced battery saying that the battery the camera comes with only lasts 24 minutes. I declined, the representative still told me that he would ship it the same day. I waited until Wednesday to call because my card hadn't been charged, they were closed until today. I called today, got transferred twice even though I just wanted to talk to customer service and that's what I selected on my phone. Each time I was on a 10+ minute wait.
After I finally got someone on the phone, he asked for my name (no order date, or number) and then said that the camera is on back order for another 2 months!!! I went to the website it still shows that's available.
They do show the best prices but then they over charge you on everything else and if you don't buy the "other stuff" they don't ship your order. If you want to over pay for memory, batteries, warranty then this is the website for you. Otherwise stay clear from them, they are a fraudulent company. Will NEVER do business with them.

"Summary: I would not deal with them unless you are prepared to spend a lot of time and comfortable eventually filing a dispute with your credit card if things don't work out (as I had to do).

I have ordered a camera from them and they never shipped it - even though they claimed that it was shipped already and I'll get the tracking number "by the end of the day". Also beware their terms. For instance they have sent an e-mail to me saying that the product will be shipped in "24-48 business hours". If you don't immediately see that that's not 1-2 days (or even 1-2 business days), you probably are not going to be able to communicate with them efficiently. Finally, look what others say about them on Internet in general, not just on this single review site.
