"Back in 2015 or so, I needed to buy a computer that could both easily handle my productivity needs (I'm a lawyer), but also allow me to play graphics-intensive games when the mood strikes. After being burned too many times, I don't trust major computer manufacturers to not sell me a bloatware-laden lemon. And while I liked the idea of building one myself, I have just enough knowledge and experience with computer hardware to know I'd probably screw it up and lose weeks of free time to troubleshooting. I figured, better to find a reputable shop to do it.
Some google-fu later, I stumbled on Puget Systems. This was an accomplishment in and of itself, given the amount of astroturfing apparently going on in this area. (Even Puget seemed to have suspiciously positive ratings, but they seemed the least suspect of the lot.) I designed the system I wanted using their online interface, and requested a quote.
From then on, I was blown away with the degree to which the run a finely tuned, process-oriented operation. When I submitted my order, they had a technician review it carefully to make sure all the parts were compatible both with each other, and with my stated purpose for building the thing. Once the order was made, they spelled out each step of the process and kept me up to speed the entire way. Using their web portal, I was able to follow my new computer through the building process, which included an apparently exhaustive benchmarking procedure designed to make sure everything's running as it should. It's all very impressive.
In the end, what matters is that my computer turned out to be everything I'd hoped it would be. Top performance, no bloat.
The best part, though, is what happened when something eventually went wrong, as things do. About two years later, the computer stopped booting, and after trying to troubleshoot it myself, I realized I needed expert help. Well, it turns out that it's really hard to find reliable, competent computer support that is able to troubleshoot hardware issues. I mean, I live in a major city, and I simply was not able to find a place within a 10 mile radius that was willing to accept the challenge.
To my relief, when I contacted Puget to see if they could help, they simply said to ship the tower to them, and they would repair it and ship it back, and only charge me for parts! I was blown away. I was even more blown away when I did exactly that, and two weeks later I had a functioning computer again. As with before, they kept me in the loop every step of the way, and showed an uncommon focus on quality through process. (By the way, it turned out the motherboard had died on me.)
I cannot recommend these folks enough. You'll pay a price that is appropriate with their level and quality of service, and in the end, you'll have both the exactly computer you want, and a company you can count on should something go wrong."
"If you go to most big box stores, you will find several national brand desktop PCs that are sold at bargain basement prices. If you are lucky, the PC will last for a couple of years, and then it will start acting up – bad memory chips, unreliable hard drives, cheap motherboards, etc. I have purchased plenty of inexpensive PCs, and I have now reached a stage in my life where I am simply tired of compromising. After my last desktop died a horrible death after just two years of use, I decided to get a quality computer. This time I wanted a custom Puget Systems PC. Why Puget Systems? Well, Puget Systems is very well known for their excellent customer service. They helped me configure a custom PC that will meet all of my needs today, as well as several years in the future. I really liked that Puget’s PCs are carefully hand-built in the USA by technicians who really like their jobs and want to build quality computers.
It should be noted that Puget Systems only use the very best components, and all of the computers built by the company are carefully QC tested for a couple of days. I ended up buying a Puget Serenity Pro PC, and it is without a doubt the quietest computer I have ever owned. It is lightning fast, and it is truly the very best computer I have ever owned. I think there is an old adage that truly applies to my purchase -- You Get What You Pay For! "
"I worked with Jon Bach at Puget Systems on a new gaming PC over a decade ago. The experience was so good I bought a second PC from Puget 6 years ago. And I bought My 3rd gaming PC from Puget last week. It is a Gen 8 Deluge mini with a hard case, small, light, quiet, and powerful.
I picked up the new machine last Friday, it took a week to build per my specs because they had to order the1080 Ti card, I had a few minor issues that night with my windows account and was able to get immediate help from Puget support. I have had zero hardware problems with the Deluge and the machine is awesome.
When I need a new PC I don't even bother shopping, I just go to Puget Systems and buy it."
"I sent an email with my computer configuration and then followed up by phone. Oscar created a configuration and then Wilson followed up the next day and walked me through the configuration. I had asked for 64 GB of memory and they told me 32 GB would probably be plenty for my use saving me some money. They were right; as I type this I am only using 20% memory.
Wilson personally reached out to me to let me know a new motherboard and CPU chip was available that would be advantageous to my needs. He followed up once they had availability so we could finalize the order.
Their web site allows you to track the order through every step. The only hitch is when the computer showed up much quicker than I had anticipated as the shipping info had not updated the last time I checked. I was thrilled to get it on Thursday instead of having to wait until Monday when I would be back at the office.
The quality of the built computer is exceptional and the performance is great! I highly recommend Puget Systems to anyone looking for a system built exactly for their needs.

"Puget immense attention to detail is unmatched, being in the IT field I have had the opportunity to order from quite a few different vendors and no one has yet come close to Puget. I love how they system is stress tested and all documentation is sent over before they ship the computer so you can eliminate many variables in the setup process. I will continue to order all custom systems from Puget."
"The ordering process was easy - with customer service promptly and professionally responding to each of my comments and concerns. The product was delivered on time as promised and the setup was also easy. Follow-up customer service was equally exceptional."
"Everything from ordering to receiving was easy and informational. I so appreciated being able to see where the process was every step of the way, and who installed what at what time. The quality control is amazing. "
"I’ve had a great experience. Highly recommended. "
"The best communication. Mr Chau did a good job."
"Good experience, purchased 3 systems and all worked flawlessly. "
"I purchased a system from Puget in April, but wanted to wait a few months to make sure things were running well (or poorly) before reviewing. I was a bit hesitant about customer support when buying an expensive system from an independent manufacturer, but based on my research, I decided to go with Puget and I am very pleased with my entire experience. Their experts helped me design the right system for my needs, which includes a lot of analytics and data crunching. We reviewed all of the analytics packages I use to determine the hardware needs for optimal performance. Once configured, the build, testing, and shipping processes went smoothly and I had the system within 7-10 days. I ran into two problems early on that I believe were related to Windows 10 Pro; one with connectivity of a wireless keyboard and mouse, and the other with printer mapping. Two calls to the Puget Help Desk and they helped me resolve both problems with great enthusiasm. I'm very appreciative because I don't think either problem was caused by them, but they helped me resolve them quickly to improve my experience with their machine. I would definitely recommend Puget to anyone that is looking for a high quality system, but has had enough of the big manufacturers. For me, support is the key because I can't spend hours holding on a phone tree trying to resolve issues my issues. Every time I called Puget, someone answered the phone within 5 rings, and I was either speaking to a tech rep within 1 minute, or I had a returned call from the tech rep within the hour. Thanks to Jon and the Puget Team for providing great value and excellent support! "
"From the beginning PUGET clearly worked to configure the machine that was the best value for me. The system I ended up with was around $10,000. The configuration I started with was closer to $12,000. I had priced and configured similar systems elsewhere for a similar price, but was uneasy about the small details it didn't seem like other people addressed. I discussed my application(s) with them, and they produced some excellent research showing how more expensive hardware didn't produce better end-use performance in the way I was using it (engineering workstation). They also validated some of my concerns with some less expensive (but still top-tier) hardware. These guys know what they are doing, and they sweat the small stuff which makes a huge difference.
The system has exceeded my expectations, and I am absolutely delighted with it. I was very concerned with how noisy the system would be, and it is completely silent. It boots and recovers from sleep in no time at all. It performs flawlessly. I heartily recommend Puget Systems."
"A representative e-mailed me to ask me about the specs I had selected and what I intended to use my computer for, then made recommendations for changes that might help me do those things better. The development process of my PC was transparent, and they explained the one delay (the part wasn't in stock, but they ordered it and got it within 24 hours). They were committed to custimer service and feedback. Would buy again."
"Of invaluable help in selection of components and in providing advice after delivery."
"I was quite hesitant to order a workstation from out of towners that i had never met. All my previous edit stations were built custom from a local shop and friend. He retired so now what?
I actually stumbled onto the Puget Systems website and was amazed at what they offered and how they offered it. Specifically how they knew the relationship between Adobe Premiere Pro and what kind of machine is required to run it properly. The process to order was super easy and questions were always answered in detail, no matter how simple the question might have been. Since I am no techie this was important to me. Next concern, would my package arrive in one piece? Packaging is superb and my PC started Right up out of the box. 1 year warranty but Lifetime support!!! You will love these folks.
