"Working with Puget Systems has been a satisfying experience. My computer arrived a little over a week ago and has been working fine from the start. I removed it from the shipping box, plugged in the cables from the old computer and started it up. Fired up without a hitch. I was not looking for a particularly unusual computer, but there were some components that I wanted and I did not want to have to buy a computer bundled with more than I needed. Puget Systems provided configurations very much like I wanted and their customization allowed me to achieve the configuration I was seeking.
Before placing an order, I appreciated the interaction with the sales staff who reviewed my proposed configurations and provided feedback. In most cases the changes recommended addressed my intended use and reduced the overall cost. They did not seek to sell me more than I needed. I also appreciated the courtesy installation of requested software and the absence of "bloatware" that was of no interest to me. Their website was easy to use and navigate. The description and review of each component by Puget staff was very helpful. Their library of articles on computer hardware was also very useful.
After placing the order I was intrigued by the invitation to view the current status of my order. It was great seeing the comprehensive build list and the quality control testing that went into the computer. The technicians doing the assembling and testing attached their names to the list making for a very transparent process.
The computer was shipped and received as scheduled and arrived in good condition. The packaging was thoroughly effective. The system has been working without any problems. I did have the opportunity to contact Support to get some assistance with installing two hard drives from my old computer. The response was very timely and helpful.
I have been completely satisfied with my experience with Puget Systems. I would buy my next computer from them and would recommend them to anyone seeking a quality product as well as personal, professional, and committed customer service."

I loved everything about the process...from Wilson assisting me on a Saturday and Sunday, to watching my system progress through the build, to all the extras (photo's, bios pictures, disks that came with components, original Windows 10 disk, etc.) to the communication all through the process.

I received my computer today and it is outstanding. Only one small change I would make is I wish they would not have created my account name or at least asked me what I wanted. Now I'm stuck with a account name that I don't want.

"What a great computer Puget Systems made for me. The best I've ever owned. I've purchased two other custom builds, one from EPO in Webster, TX, the other from Fry's, also in Webster. The Fry's machine was an AMD Spider with their Phenom Black CPU, dual ATI Radeon HD 3850 graphics cards, and 7-series chipset. Obviously, my current Puget Systems machine is a lot newer, but man, it blows away everything I've owned before. I run Far Cry 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, Skyrim, all with graphics settings maxed out and with great smoothness (I've not clocked the FPS, but VERY smooth). The person who helped me at Puget Systems reviewed my thoughts on the build and my use of the computer, and recommended two LESS EXPENSIVE options that have proven to be the right choice. I've owned the computer now for around 9-months, and it's been absolutely tops. Incredibly quiet (thank you SSDs, and quiet fans)! Incredibly fast. Window's Experience Index = 7.8! Customer's experience index = 10.0! I do 3D graphics modeling, play games as mentioned before + MMORPGs like FFXIV - never any problems. Very stable machine, no hardware failures in the 9-mos. or so that I've owned it. Totally satisfied!

Puget Systems' staff were both very professional, and very knowledgeable about their offerings, they kept in touch during the build and burn in and the machine I received was packaged very well - in a very sturdy box with about a 4" air gap all around and the computer case box secured in the midst. I experienced NO problems with shipping whatever (well, I was alone when I got it home, so it was kind of a chore to unload from my truck).

Overall - my opinion - great machine for the price. Stellar, in fact."

I read a lot about building a performance machine, and was tempted to try it myself, but after searching for the best pricing on the components I selected, I found that Puget Systems charged a very reasonable and fair premium to do the build. Given that a few component problems were identified in the test and burn-in, I'm grateful I didn't have to navigate that situation on my own.

The Obsidian shows no sign of vulnerability following a seemingly endless nightmare-like experience with my prior system, as delivered by a Puget Systems direct competitor, pertaining to a never resolved “freezing” issue. Hence, the upgrade in performance is like stepping up to a new BMW after driving a Volkswagen Beetle with an irreparable carburetor problem.
