Ex-Dedicated Customer

"For quite some time I had been doing business with Pyramyd Air, but after the my last order I'm moving on to another company. This is due mainly to the fact that their customer service agent, Doug G., failed to make sure the carrier on a $500.00+ order would be required to get my signature upon delivery. At first I simply emailed him to say he should make sure to follow a customers orders. Then he actually wrote me back and lied to me saying that my husband never requested a signature. I was nearby when these instructions were given over the phone so I emailed back to let him know that and that he should leave it alone before I did decide to take my business, and money elsewhere. He didn't listen and sent a request for review of my experience on the transaction. I keep my word! Goodbye Pyramyd Air! Never argue with a customer."

Change of Service

"For years this was an Excellent company with top service. Now
ALL phases are terrible- from arrogant customer service to the
worst return policy department I have experienced. They are 60
miles away- I always tried to support local suppliers. It seems when
they moved to Solon there was a change of Management or
Ownership. Too bad Pyramid- you were the best.

not pleased with Pyramyd Air business practices and your customer service

"I am not pleased with Pyramyd Air business practices and customer service.
On 7/1/18 I bought an air gun that I found out would hurt the raccoon so I tried multitude of times to reach them by phone with no prevail, I emailed them asking to cancel my order a multitude of times ,with no response , I finally got a hold of someone on line and he told me it would be canceled and gave me a link to cancel it in which I did a multitude of times trying to get a confirmation of cancel , finally I got one and then the next day you shipped it!!!!! And now I am being charged $16.06 for a restocking fee? Unhappy former customer :

2 day shipping takes a week

"I paid $10 for 2 day shipping and it took a week to get it because they didnt ship it for 3 days. I sent numerous emails and complaints but never got a single reply. Very poor service and even worse shipping apeed. Total Doodoo"

Customer Service

"For me, it's always about the CS experience. Pyramyd Air is my primary supplier for exactly that reason. When I need a question answered I can call my guy, Greg Wnek, and if he doesn't have the answer for me immediately, he'll get it and get back to me in short order. When I have an issue, he makes sure it gets resolved quickly and painlessly. The experience Greg has provided for me has always been top notch although he assures me that it's not just him, but the entire group at Pyramyd Air that are dedicated to maintaining exactly that type of relationship with their customers.

In an arena where pricing is competitive across the board, CS is the one place where companies can make or break their reputations. For me Pyramyd Air gets all the stars for exactly that reason.

Wish it can be -5 stars

"I samply present myself a fair business opportunity to them on this 1500 usd Msrp 4000 psi air compressor.
They answered vague on things that mattered like how they will ship and what they can offer for the price.

Any person that has a business mind would gladly inquire and see client as a protential and attempt to gain their satisfaction.

Not this company even said go to another company you have the choice to. You know what I will and as a ex business owner I strongly advise you truely this is a clear sign that this is a crook company who will upsell and use switch and bait to earn your money once but never again. I do not say that to any company unless to warn the public of a scam. Every business is simply trying to survive but do it right. Treat your client right like a business show care and your will earn your place in the market.
Scams and tactics I’m not going. Remember supply and demand. We don’t buy they will go bankrupt as they deserve. Do not fear one goes down a new opportunity will present itself. As customers we choose who we support.

Dropped shipping crooks

"They **** clowns dropped shipped by order which I spent 30$ on shipping. They dropped shipped it from ups to usps to make more money and now 3 weeks and I still don't have my order. They said it's because I'm in hawaii bit Amazon and eBay all get here in 5 days. They also have been giving themselves fake reviews online to get there numbers higher. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS

Crappy service

"Sent my p-1 in for a mainspring replacement, it comes back and one od the spring retractors is out of its rail. Call them back and the guy yells at me for saying its still not fixed? I went to a mount victory shop and they fixed it. Never again will i deal with these dipshits!"

Fake Reviews?

"I often go to Pyramid Air to get specs and compare prices on air guns, but I’ve noticed that in contrast to every other pellet gun merchant, their reviews are ALWAYS superior those seen on Amazon or Walmart. I then started reading the reviews critically and with care and I came to the conclusion that (in my opinion), the writing is similar for all the reviews even though they are supposedly written by different consumers. I also noticed that the reviews mention that they made sure to buy from Pyramid Air, or when they buy next time, they will buy from them. So, based on the striking similarities in terms of the writing style, content, grammar, etc of the reviews, I fear that many of the testimonials are disingenuous, to put it kindly. I hope I’m wrong in my suspicions, because they have an excellent inventory and a high-functioning site, but all pellet guns aren’t created equally and it doesn’t make any sense that the VAST majority of reviews are 4.2/5 or better, as far as I can tell."

Best Customer Service

"A while back, I ordered an Umarex Gauntlet .22 from Pyramyd Air. Mine arrived in mid November. After approximately 40 shots with it, it began giving me problems. I had also ordered 6 Marauder magazines to go with it and a scuba yoke, for a total cost of just over $500.00. I contacted them, filled out all the return information from a total of 3 different orders, as I had ordered the gun in one order, the scuba yoke and 2 magazines in a different order (along with some pellets), and 4 more magazines (along with even more pellets) in a different order. To complicate matters, the gun with the scuba yoke was pre-ordered, so, by the time I had the trouble with the gun, I had already had the magazines for well over a month.

Not only did Pyramyd Air take everything back, but they did not charge me for the shipping. They did not charge me the restocking fee, which I was sure that they would. They ended up giving me a straight up trade for the Hatsan Bullboss .22, which just arrived today. The really bizarre thing is that it was shipped a day earlier than the item was supposed to be in stock. When I checked my email this morning, the last thing that I expected to see was that my gun was out for delivery, as I live in Oregon, and Pyramyd Air is in Pennsylvania. However, there it was in my in box, order out for delivery. How could that be possible? It was made possible, because the gun was shipped by Airgun Depot. That's right, I ordered it from Pyramyd Air, and they worked it out through Airgun Depot.

I am surprised by so many negative reviews of Pyramyd Air. I am new to air gunning, and from reviews elsewhere, I gathered that Pyramyd Air is known for great customer service. I got my first air rifle from Grab a Gun. The Umarex Gauntlet, was going to be my second air rifle, and I decided to get it from Pyramyd Air, because I believed they would stand by their products. Not only did they stand by their product, but they went way above and beyond. Not only did I get good customer service, I got the best customer service imaginable. They went so far out of their way to make me happy, it is still really unbelievable. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Now I have my eyes on the Benjamin Bulldog.

High prices, terrible customer service, warranty is garbage

"Don't waste your money there, they sell lemons and won't help you if there's an issue, which I've had 3 in just over a month. I even offered to buy the spare parts needed to fix the gun myself and they won't even do that, they keep pawning me off to the manufacturer. I've seen poor rating private sellers on ebay and Amazon that are more helpful. And their warranties, I've read fine print on health coverage plans that were less shady. STAY AWAY"

Surprisingly dissatisfied

"Placed an order 12 days ago. Pyramid Air shipped on the next business day. "Great!" I was able to track my order via UPS until UPS handed my package over to the USPS. Pyramid Air decided to to use UPS surepost which is basically a means for retailers to save a couple of dollars on shipping. I wish that Pyramid Air would have stated that the basic shipping method was going to be surepost, I would have paid more to have it sent using UPS ground. I sent Pyramid Air a email voicing my concerns that my order hasn't arrived yet. The last known location of my order was in San Pablo California at a USPS Office. It appears to have been sitting there for the last 6 days! Today is a weekday and in an hour from now it will be twenty four hours since I sent my email to Pyramid Air which hasn't responded. In closing I would have expected at least a reply that they were trying to find out where my package is currently located. No such luck, surprisingly dissatisfied! "
