There was no indications of any damage to the outside of the box that it was shipped in so it must have been cut with prior to going inside of the shipping box. "I have been purchasing PCP air rifles and supplies from Pyramid Air for several years. I have also purchased several refurbished items which I was very pleased with. I recently purchased an air Venturi 4500 air compressor that was refurbished. The price was good the shipping was free and prior experience with refurbished items was very good.
When the unit was delivered the exterior of the box looked good without any damage but there was oil stains throughout the box. When I inspected the air compressor the mainframe was cracked and it looked like it was obviously dropped on its side. I was very disappointed with the condition of this machine and doubted if it went through a thorough inspection process before it was shipped. I spoke with customer service and they immediately issued me an RMA number which included a shipping label. Pyramid ad paid for the shipping back to their facility and then sent out another unit that arrived intact and was obviously at the high quality refurbished level that is typical of
Pyramid Air. I know it was very expensive to ship this 80 lb unit back and forth but you did it without question and you corrected the problem as soon as it was brought to your attention.
