"I ordered 4 Radioddity R2 PMR446 Radios via Radioddity UK, but had problems programming them when they arrived. I contacted support via email and they responded promptly with helpful advice, directions and support. The radios were quickly replaced, but I had the same problem. Once again I was supported in a friendly and polite manner until the problem was resolved. Turned out to be user error in the end, I was using the wrong version of the R2 Software. Thank you Radioddity for your outstanding support."
"I'm verry happy with my purchase. This litle radio is a dual band, and dual time slot DMR porto, which is easy to programm with the including programming cable, and the software you can find on their site. For a codeplug to start with, you can find it in the Radioddity Facebook group, and adjust it to your needs. At first I had a small problem with the radio. The PTT buttun came loose. I wrote Radioddity about it. The responded verry quick. I could send it back at their account, without any costs, to Berlin. And when I mailed them, that I've send it in, the immediately send me a new one. I send mine on tuesday, and on Friday I received the new one! Vevina is very friendly, and responstime is also very quick!"
"Radioddity has been very responsive by email. Some of the reviews say they don't get an email response, but I have written back and forth with them...no problem. They usually answer within one day.
I purchased the Radioddity DB25 radio to have a mobile radio for my vehicle. The DB25 is 25 watts, and it can be reduced down to 15 watts for low power. It's a nice little radio. The audio is very clear. I love the small size.
It comes with a programming cable, but I had a little trouble programming it using my Chirp program. The DB25 wasn't a choice in the Chirp program, so I tried the QB25. That didn't work. I googled the problem and found that people said to select QYT KT8900D as the radio, and it worked!
The other problem I encountered was desensing. I'm a relatively new ham, and I was trying to test my new DB25 by talking to my friend through our local repeater. She was about 15 feet away from me, and she could not hear me through the repeater on her handheld. A google search taught me about desensing. Apparently because of our close proximity, my DB25 transmission noise was causing degradation of her radio's receive sensitivity, and that's why she couldn't hear me.
The DB25 itself seems to be a good radio. I'm happy with my purchase.

"A very nice radio for use with a hotspot. Sits comfortably in the hand like a microphone and very convenient.
The press to talk button is very sensitive but that is the only criticism I would make.
Generating a code plug requires its own software but is very similar to other radio software and I had no problem using it to program the radio.

"I purchased 2 Baofeng UV-5R EX radios and 2 Radioddity RD-201 programing cables. I was unable to program either radio. Neither cable was working. I contacted customer service and spoke with Thomas. Throughout several messages back and forth trying to troubleshoot the problem Thomas was always professional and helpful. He decided it must be the cables. He sent a new cable immediately. "I made my first purchase with Radioddity as I was looking to pickup the RD-5R radio while it was on sale for a good price.
Initially there was an issue with the site pricing as the price shown on the site to buy the radio in a bundle with extra battery and mic was then showing as £10 more once added to the cart. I emailed them about it and had a reply from Thomas within just a few hours offering to sort the issue however I had already bought the radio as the price had been discounted a little further than it already was, so I just went ahead with the purchase as I already have multiple batteries.
The radio arrived to me in the UK in 5 days, which coming from China is excellent!
As I want to leave an honest review I have to mention that there was a problem with what I ordered, in that the antenna I received in the box was not the one shown and listed on the website. However this is where the outstanding customer experience plays part.
I replied to my initial conversation with Thomas and explained the issue, sent some pictures of the antenna I received and without question I was offered a replacement antenna to be sent to me for free. The issue was dealt with and rectified very quickly.
I will also mention that there was a customs import duty/tax fee from DHL coming into the UK but as Thomas kindly pointed out to me in our conversations that they offer to cover 50% of the fee's as per their policy. All I had to do was pay the fee and send them a copy of the invoice/receipt and they promptly refunded me half of the fee I had to pay.
I must thank Thomas for his time and help to quickly sort the issue I had.
I will certainly be back again and recommending Radioddity to my friends."
"A big thanks to Vevina for helping with the warranty replacement of my TYT TH-9800 radio. The prepaid shipping label made it quick and easy to return the unit. I shipped it on a Tuesday and had the new, replacement radio the following Wednesday...wow!
