"I recently ordered a UV-82x3, which is a new offering from Radioddity. Immediately after I ordered the radio I noticed they had a special bundle deal of the radio and an external mic for the same price as I paid for the radio itself. I immediately contacted Customer Service asking if they would honor the bundle price. I submitted this request on a Friday afternoon. By the time the customer service department had a chance to see my request on Monday morning the radio had already shipped (wow!!) and they could not arrange for the microphone to be included. Vevina did arrange for one to be included free of charge with my next order. Secondly, when I received my radio I found that the second antenna needed for 220 MHz operation was not included. I contacted Vevina again and explained the situation to her and theorized as the radio was so new they might have had an issue with their supplier not realizing they needed to include this antenna. She researched the situation and arranged for them to immediately ship an antenna to me and included the external mic with this package. I received this package in good time with both items. Vevina was always in close contact with me throughout this process and made things happen for me to ensure my satisfaction. She also took my suggestion to bundle this radio with an RD-301 antenna to management for their consideration. This is not my first time working with their customer service. "I bought the radios for communication between our team members. Since the PMR channels are already preset you do not need to do any big winstellarbeiten. Even if it is possible. The communication works wonderfully with other PMR devices like a G7 or G9.
The range is perfectly adequate for playing airsoft.
Only the included headsets are not quite as good. It is difficult to adjust so that they hold in the ear. With fast movements it can happen that it falls out. But the function is great"
"Over the last 7 months I've ordered 11 radios from Radioddity, 9 hand held baofeng UV-5R's ,UV-6R's and two mobile units (QYT KT-8900 and Radioddity DB-25). They were purchased through ebay, amazon and directly from their website along with various other items (mics, antennas and extra batteries). Overall value and very fast shipping were great. Had an issue with one of the mobile units (KT-8900) and Wing in customer service was super responsive. Considering the time zone difference and distance involved Wing was very responsive and interested in solving the issue to my satisfaction. I won't hesitate to buy from Radioddity in the future. Outstanding value and customer service.
