"I recently purchased a Canon 5D from this company. Prior to ordering, I called to verify that in fact I was purchasing a Factory Sealed USA warrented Canon 5D. I was assured that yes it was. I have received my camera, and it came to my attention that due to the photo copied users manual and lack of a Canon warrenty card in the box that my camera appears to be refurbished!! I called customer service
and was told that Canon periodically does audits from it's suppliers to make sure every thing is in the box that is supposed to be in the box - my box didn't have a users manual so the company provided me the photo copied version (the box has now been opened,it's no longer a factory
sealed product). I was also told that "Canon must have forgotten the warranty and since it was not in the box and that all I had to do was call Canon and they would honor the warrenty." I called both Canon and an Authorized Canon repair facility and they said with out the warrenty card they would NOT and could NOT honor the Canon warrentyt and that if it wasn't in the box then I bought a refurbished camera.
