"I was a little surprised when I received a call the following day after ordering my TV saying that I would be charged extra for shipping insurance; however, this was mainly because it wasn't explicitly stated on the product information page. After doing some research I found this to be normal practice for shipping larger TVs. The CSR I spoke with did say they were working on adding the shipping insurance information to the product pages of items that would need it.

At the end of the day, I was provided with great customer service and quick turnaround for the processing and shipping of my TV order. My TV arrived quickly, BNIB, and undamaged, which shows that the shipping companies they use are careful with the products they are delivering. Also, the price I paid was definitely lower than any other price I could find. I'd gladly buy from them again and would recommend them to my friends.

"I ordered a big screen TV from Bigbox Superstore. My order confirmation came via email on Nov 5, with the cost as I expected - $1,729.99. ($1,759.99 less a $30 promo discount) I received a followup email on Nov 5 stating the same price. On November 6, I received a third email stating my order had shipped and that a charge for "handling and insurance" appears for $182. The promo discount for $30 also disappeared. They added a insurance handling charge on my bill after it shipped. When I inquired via email, I got no response. Upon hearing no response to my email inquiring about the added handling charge, I contacted my credit card company to reverse the charge. Eric from BigBox Superstore contacts me because he is "concerned" about my low rating on this site. He also states that he will not contest the chargeback on my credit card. Well, he lied! He did contest the charge and lied to my credit card number stating that he added the charge BEFORE he shipped. He added the charge AFTER he shipped. Eric also did not show the first 2 emails to my Credit Card Company, only the third email with the additional charge. There is nothing I hate more than retailers that add charges after the fact and then lie about it. I am thankful I have AMEX as me credit card company - they took care of the overcharge for me. I think this is a terrible retailer and I would never order from them again."

"I was under the impression (from Big Box) that the delivery personnel would set up the TV and dispose of the box and the packing material. Did not happen, all they did was to deliver the TV. Upon request, they did open up the box and plugged in the TV to make sure it worked.

Free Shipping, but you do have to pay insurance on the item - this is spelled out under the Terms & Conditions. Nevertheless, even with the insurance was a Great price.

"I knew exactly what model of LG 55in LED Google TV I wanted. Did my research and discovered that www.bigboxsuperstore.com had the lowest price and in my case free shipping. Even used www.resellerratings.com to make my decision. Everything arrived as expected, product was brand new and everything intact. "The TV itself was great. Weve had it up and running now for a week and the picture is just amazing. I would recommend this TV to anyone. I had some issues regarding shipping but Bigbox contacted me and compensated me for the late delivery...great customer service and worthy of a 5 star rating."

"Fairly smooth transaction. Product (top of the line Samsung LED TV) was as advertised and priced well below the major retailers (almost $1,000 less). Free shipping but $148 charge for insurance by private courier? Shipping took 7 business days to go from Florida to Mass. Reasonable charge for the 3 year protection plan. Was skeptical because as they say if it's too good to be true it probably is. This was not the case. Loving my new big screen TV and the extra cash I saved. Would recommend this etailer."

"We found the exact TV we wanted for $1000 less than what they were charging at Best Buy. The delivery guy stayed and helped us unpack the TV to make sure there was no damage. Will definitely recommend Bigbox!"
