I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, this MTD item was not available in our local inventory or through MTD's distribution network. We received your order on Friday, 8/9, in the afternoon and contacted you on Monday morning (8/12, 1 business day later) to let you know of the backorder situation with the item you had ordered. A request was received from you to cancel the order and so the order was canceled and your PayPal payment refunded in full.

Good, but....

"It took a week to get the part, but that was fine. And it was the correct part. My only beef with them was that there was no communication regarding shipping. They did not send an email letting me know when it shipped and the expected delivery date. Because of this, l borrowed a weed eater from a friend in case the parts did not arrive before the next time I mowed . Well, after a bit of effort, I found the phone number and called them. They said " it should be delived today." And it was. So it is all good, just wished they had sent the shipping information!"

I apologize for the inconvenience with this order. We received your order for the EGO lower housing on the evening of 8/7/19 and contacted you on the morning of 8/8/19 (approximately 13.5 hours later) via email to inform you that this item was not available in our local inventory and would have to be sourced from EGO's inventory, which takes 10-14 days to be released from them. We did not get a response from you. We resent the same notification to you on 8/13/19 and it was not until then that we received a response regarding your order. I did check on the status and the item is still currently in transit from EGO and your order will be released as soon as this item becomes available. I apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.
