"Ordered a pair of motorcycle tires. Prices cheaper than I could find elsewhere, some places charging much more. I got them in about 4 days, a weekend included so not bad at all. They were dated 1yr old and 6mo old. Again reasonable. I have a pair of tires on the bike 10 years old but plenty of tread however it is suggested to replace them at 6-10years of age due to hardening of the rubber and possible deterioration and cracking. If they sent me some 3 or 4 yr old tires I would have been upset.
I prefer the freshest tires but it is not unusual to get them several years old from other online places and local dealers and not realize it unless you date check the tires."

I had talked with customer service through phone and email. I placed an order for front and rear tires for my Harley. I did some research before hand about ordering tires online instead of going through your local dealer. I was told to be careful cause I might receive old tires yet new. these are the tires that have been sitting around the warehouse for years.
so, I did talk with customer service and I was told that had tires that were only a couple of months old. SOOO, I did place my order and REQUESTED the new tires. I did not want old but new tires that were years old.
first of all, great prices in the tires! I probably saved myself about $150.
BUT when I received my tires, I did not receive the tires that were just a couple of months old. I received tires that were dated July 2013 for the rear and Sept 2012 for the front.
I was very disappointed in the age of the tires. I was told by customer service that they will put the request for the new tires dated Feb 2014 on the order form. (but they did not guarantee it).
SO, just be warned that you might not get new tires as describeed over the phone or by email.
The shipping was free and it was very fast. I placed order on april 25 and received april 29"

Rock Mountain not only had one in stock (their inventory system did a good job) and shipped out to me the same very day (beats waiting two weeks to be contacted by Motorsport).
