"3/8" Tight-Lock Rubber Tiles - 10% of the tiles (3 out of 30) had 1 or more broken interlocks. This leaves gaps that you have to fill in with leftover rubber pieces. Clearly they lack quality control before shipping the product. Also, they do not post reviews that are less than 4 stars. So search other companies before you decide to shop at Rubberflooringinc."

"Via Order#581318, ordered 52 yards of subject tiles. Based on what we received and learned installing same, the following is a WARNING:
1. You should very carefully examine the tiles when they arrive. We received two (2) different patterns. (There were differences in the single/center male edge protrusion...some round and others square/rectangular. One can mix the two diff. edge patterns BUT you will not get a good fitting of adjacent tiles. I will try to attach a photo of the problem patterns to this review. Why in tarnation this firm sends out two (2) diff. patterns (or even has same) is beyond me. In summary, if you get two diff. edge patterns, contact firm and get enough replacements so you end up with all one (1) pattern. This may seem like a needless delay, resolving edge pattern BUT worth resolving BEFORE laying your tiles. Trust me!
2. Along with the examination in #1 above, carefully examine the overall face of ea. tile (tilting same to light source--there will most assuredly be a couple of what looks like "scratched lines/flaws" that run across the surface of ea. tile. This firm says such are within manufacturing tolerances....I say they are flaws and you shall forever note same in your finished floor.
3. While you are laying tiles, I suggest you rotate ea. tile (same side face up) to determine if tiles appear lighter or darker (overall shade color) in comparison to adjoining tiles. Rotate to have tile appear best/similar with your normal lighting and viewing position of the flooring. Note: Rubber Flooring firm excludes surface reflection etc. under warranty...so worth your time to get ea. tile laid best possible.
4. These "WATER JET CUT" tiles (COST EXTRA) are advertised as: "...they appear virtually seamless (unlike the many die cut tile options available". In reality, these tiles do NOT fit well at all...many joints are readily visible!
5. In Conclusion: I would not purchase subject tiles again. Recommend you purchase tiles from firm where you personally can examine interlocking fit and surface of ea. tile for flaws. "

"Ordered the octane flooring for my garage. Everything was fine at order time. They sent email with the shipping date. Expected call from shipping company. The shipper called and said they do not have a lift gate truck to deliver because rubberflooringinc did not request one for the delivery so i would have to pay the driver out of pocket if i wanted the delivery. I told them I am refusing to do that because on the rubberflooring site it clearly states curb side service. I didnt feel i should have to now pay extra for a delivery when its supposed to be free. Free delivery is great when it works and its set up correctly. Long story short the shipper finally got approval from rubberflooring to deliver with a lift gate. That was known to me on the actual day of delivery since the whole thing started friday afternoon and did not get resolved until monday which was the delivery date. I was already home from work expecting the shipment. Problem was that with all the back and forth it made the delivery one day late. Now normally that wouldn't be much of a issue but since I had to move EVERYBODY working on my garage back one day on the garage schedule, cabinets, door trim, paint touch up and the overhead garage door install guy I ended up with a few back charges from some of the contractors. Not to mention having to take off 1/2 day from work to receive package. The product is ok. Does what it was intended for. Covering up a grungy garage floor. It is however noisy and some of the tiles are deformed. Had to lay down some underlayment foam to quiet it down. Hopefully they deformed tiles flatten out. I also ordered the black and gray tiles and they sent black and silver. I never got a response back from Rubberflooring when i sent email. I don't expect to either.

As for rubberflooringinc when I called the operator flat out lied and said that they had a lift gate truck request and to take my complaint up with HIS shipper cause it was their "fault" for my lost time and fees incurred. I can see why he didn't give a hoot. They got their money. I would not use this company again. Plenty of other flooring places around."

"Not a customer based company - watch for delivery gotchas. I paid $230.00 for shipping of 500 lb of rubber flooring. The freight company billed me an additional $91.00 for rolling the crate on a dolly into my garage. I called rubberflooringinc.com about the invoice and they stated that due to the nature of my location (residential with no loading doc), I would have to incure the cost even though this was not disclosed on the website nor the freight company."

"We purchased the 1/2" Eco-soft tiles for our home gym and LOVE IT!!! The installation was extremely easy and the finished look is phenomenal! I was a little hesitant about whether or not the colors would match our walls but they do perfectly!! Just enough cushion for a great feel. This room is 390 sq. ft.; the price was great for a professional look!"

"The product is outstanding. As promised. The experience was fine, except I left a note to delay the order because I was moving, but the roll was shipped immediately to an address that I hadn't moved into yet.

And as expensive at it was to alter shipping once started, it could have been a real problem. It worked out, but it was still a little frustrating.
