"Ryther Camera offers amazing prices, but you need to do your homework so that you know the difference between 'USA Warranty' and 'Gray Market' (WITHOUT a warranty).
I have dealt with them twice, and although the prices attracted me, in both instances, I found that when shipped, the order was incomplete. To be fair, both time I called, and both times the salesperson promptly shipped out the items.
My major complaint - and mistake - was when I paid for their extended warranty. They do NOT tell you that the warranty is then held by one of two other companies, one of which is a snakepit.
My advice? Buy the USA warranty, because even though the price is higher than the gray market stuff, it is still MUCH lower than competitor prices.....just don't buy the extended warranty.
In the final analysis, expect mistakes, prompt corrections of those mistakes, and many, many, many promises that they "...will take care of you!"

I want to personally thank James and Steve for all their effort and expertise, along with their affable banter, making my purchase of the Nikon camera (Kit) for my daughter’s birthday an informative and enjoyable purchase. I was able to tweak the camera kit to give my daughter a camera she will be able to grow with in the coming years with James’ guidance. I know when she takes her “DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY I” course next year she will have the correct tools and with a bit of luck give her the love of photography I have been lucky to experience.
Teenagers,, as we all remember are independent and are trying to figure out how to cut the apron strings.
