"Great products fast shipping...my only complaint is that the website dosent have "out of stock" alerts on their products...u have to call in to find out before u order...my last order had one product out of stock so im still waiting to be billed and for it to get shipped...oh and they have no idea when the product will be back in stock...otherwise great service"

"Unfortunately, the SWFA web site doesn't show if an item is in stock or not. I ordered a Vortex scope for an upcoming hunt, only to get an email the next day stating that it was out of stock and back ordered. If I had known that it was not in stock, I would have ordered from Brownell's who had it in stock. Now I'm just hoping that they get it in and shipped in enough time for the upcoming varmint hunt..........
How about upgrading the web site to show if items are in stock???"

"I was in the market for an RMR sealing plate. After having ordered one from Amazon.com and being unhappy with the projected shipping time, I came across the same product on SWFA.com for slightly less money and faster shipping. I cancelled the Amazon order and placed an order with SWFA. The next day I received an email from SWFA customer service stating that the product was out of stock and backordered. After several unresponsive emails, asking the representative to cancel my order, I finally called them and cancelled the order. I do have to say that the the customer service representative to whom I spoke on the phone was very courteous and prompt with assistance. Several hours later, I received a curt (at least from the tone) email from the original customer service representative, saying (paraphrased) that my order had been cancelled per my telephone call. I had emailed him several times, so no doubt he was annoyed after receiving numerous emails, however, I did not want a transaction pending on my credit card for any longer than necessary for a cancelled order - so I was trying to make sure that it had been cancelled. I ended up ordering the same product again from Amazon and paying for expedited shipping.
I understand that stuff happens; however, this ordeal was quite an annoyance caused by their inaccurate inventory tracking system. This incident has not put me off of buying from them in the future; however, I hope they have improved the real-time updating of their systems by then. "

"Item is back ordered, but that status was not displayed prior to ordering. After the order was complete, I was notified that the item was back ordered and due on March 16. Item still has not shipped as of today March 22. Probably not SWFA's fault that the item is late, but I was annoyed that there was no indication that the item was not in stock at the time I ordered it. On a plus side, SWFA did not charge my credit card and probably will not until the item will ship, whenever that is. There is no feedback from SWFA on when this item is now expected or whether the manufacturer will deliver at all. On the verge of cancelling this order. Overall, not the best customer service."
