Products and prices are good, but ffl is vague

"Every other online dealer I have dealt with has had a set of instructions for how to handle FFL transmission/transfers. Usually something to the effect of "we will contact your FFL", or " please have them send their FFL to this number or email". I looked high and low and found no instruction. Ended up putting the FFL as my shipping address. I had to contact swfa a few days later to see what was goin on. The lady was super nice, and responded fairly quickly, but it was just a quick "yeah, have them send it over". Okay....how? Where? Ended up pulling the fax number from her email signature, and all was well, but it still kinda seemed halfassed and unprofessional. Also, it was shipped to a different address, I think maybe the UPS shipping center. Luckily the driver saw the alternate address, the one I provided, and brought it there instead."

Don't understand

"I went all the way through the process of buying my scope, rings, sunshade, and butler creek caps. The payment was initially declined for an unknown reason. My problem is I went through the entire process and received an email the following day telling me by the way the scope you ordered is back order and in available for a month and a half.
The system should know the on hand inventory and show the availability before I place my order And waste my time when I can find one in stock somewhere else.

Second time & you're out!

"Just getting into personal custom rifle building for long range shooting. Ordered a scope last year, encountered a processing problem with that & never got the email from SWFA?!? Hmmm, well stuff happens... got it a re-ordered, done. About a month ago, ready to dress my newest rifle project, ordered the exact same Sightron scope as before. Oddly enough, had a processing problem AGAIN! Never got the "we got a problem" email from SWFA, AGAIN! Oh, I did get this survey request email?!? Hmmmm... whatever, it's your business, but just seems to me there's an internal issue (of some sort) with SWFA? Hey, you're trying to sell it, but I can't seem to buy it??? Sorry, but two strikes is plenty for me... I'm off to Optics Planet to spend my $1,000 (give or take just for this order), they've always been able to sell & promptly deliver everything I've order without a hitch! Oh, and I always get their emails (to the same address)??? SWFA BOSS, y'all got issues to address!!!!!!!"

Ordered an item showed in stock to find it was out of stock and backordered.

Played this game twice with SWFA. They show something is available, then find out that it wasn't in stock after all, Just to add insult to injury; it has been on back order. So 2 months later, the scope I bought to shoot last months matches arrived.

Thanks SWFA. I wonder if you lost touch with your customer base.
This is why I quit shopping with Optics Planet.

Service was OK. but website is lacking

"If something is out of stock, state it on the website and do not offer it for sale. Ordering something and then turning around and finding it may be in a about a month is not real good. Integrating inventory to a website is not that difficult."
