"I waited to enter this review -- they send out the request immediately after you place your order, so many reviews are just about the order process. I found the customer service at Saatva to be excellent, but they contract with local delivery companies, and the one in my area was just horrible. It took almost a month and several times of scheduling and rescheduling to get them to give me an appropriate time window -- the person you speak to when scheduling says you can choose to have the mattress delivered either between 8 and 12, or between 12 and 4, but that never matched what they actually scheduled me for. On the third attempt, the mattress was supposed to be delivered between 2 and 6, so I completely disassembled my old bed, only to have them not show up until after 9pm (I gave up at 7 and put my old bed back together by myself, refusing that delivery). I finally had to have the folks at Saatva schedule the delivery for me, when the delivery company managed to actually match the time they had offered. I would not do business with Saatva again because of the problems with the delivery, and while I was told that they have a "97% satisfaction rate on delivery," I was never offered a chance to rate the delivery itself.
I do like the mattress, though it hasn't helped as much with my hot flashes as I had hoped, and I notice movement from my dog more than I did with a foam mattress. But I'm happy with the comfort level (I bought the most popular, medium mattress), and with Saatva itself; they just need to do a better job of screening their delivery companies, and their managers should understand that telling me how satisfied other customers are with delivery isn't helpful."

"Got my bed 3 days ago, only 9 days after ordering it. Main selling point of Saatva was the Lineal adjustable base. Saatva is the only online company I looked at that has an adjustable base in twin size. As for the mattress, my old mattress was sagging so much that any new mattress is going to be better. "The web site is great, the reviews are great... and everything was going fine until it came to scheduling delivery. The delivery company called and said they only deliver during office hours Monday-Friday and cannot accommodate time frame requests. I cannot leave work during these hours, so reached out to Saatva to see if weekend or evening deliveries were possible. Via online chat and telephone calls, they first told me that would be impossible, but then changed and blamed the issue on me for not having specified that I needed a certain delivery time during my order and then they could have accommodated... what they overlook is that there is no option to do this. During the ordering process, it only asks you to let them know if you are in a hurry... which I am not- I would have been happy to work with anyone willing to try to help accommodate me, but instead their internal chains of communication got crossed and they still condescendingly explained to me how it was my fault, but they "appreciate my business." All it would have taken to turn my experience around would have been someone genuinely listening to me and showing interest in the experience, rather than proving to me that they are right."
