"Relatively positive. I was disappointed in their shipping policy and saddened to learn that shipping is not based on actual cost and they are unwilling to be flexible about it. It's not fair to overcharge for shipping like they do. A $5 gasket (very light weight item) should not cost $6 to ship. And when you call to ask, not only do they pretend that they are beholden to whatever the computer says but they refuse to even discuss it other than to suggest you buy more items. The items themselves are good quality and arrived in a timely manner. "

"I recently ordered a Rancilio Silvia espresso machine and Baratza Preciso grinder from Seattle Coffe Gear. I contacted three separate distributors of the Silvia before decided to purchase from Seattle Coffe Gear. SCG had the best prices on combo units ($879 for the Silvia and the Baratza Preciso) and the most freebies thrown in. They also offer a 2-yr warranty. Their website was wasy to navigate and was loaded with links to product reviews, comparisons and instuctional Youtube viedos.

The SCG staff was knowledegeable and very consumer oriented. It wasn't all about the sale, but rather about the consumer experience. They contacted me regarding my recent order and request to have them install a PID. I knew up front that the upgraded PID unit wasn't in stock and will take a few weeks to get in, but they went on to apologize for the delay and ask if I was still OK with the delay. They even went as far to ask if I'd prefer to cancel and source elsewhere. No way. Good things are worth waiting for. "
