"Overall our experience with select a bed was amazing. Juan gave us great customer service and we even heard from the shipping manager personally when inquiring about our shipping timeline. The shipping experience itself unfortunately was bad, but that was done by a local 3rd party (Maximum Overdrive in TN). The shipping company called us at 4pm the night before our delivery was scheduled to confirm they’d deliver the next day between 11am-2pm, and said they’d call when they were 30 minutes away. So we made arrangements to take off work and disassemble our old bed in preparation for this delivery. The next day 2pm came and went with no sign of delivery. When I called to check on where they were, I was told that our bed never arrived on their dock that morning as they were expecting so they would not be delivering and would need to reschedule for another day. Needless to say we were pretty upset that they didn’t even give us the courtesy of a phone call to tell us this. We were also pretty miffed that this shipping company was idiotic enough to schedule and confirm a delivery with a customer for a product that had not even been received (or inspected) at their shipping dock yet! That’s just plain **** poor customer service right there. I phoned select a bed to let them know about the problems with their vendor. I think they were almost as shocked and upset as I was. They immediately got to work making phone calls and unfortunately while I wasn’t able to get my bed delivered that same day because of it being so late in the day, I did have it the very next morning. It wasn’t that joke of a shipping company that left us high and dry either, select a bed told them to fly a kite and found me someone much more reliable. The shipping manager stayed in touch with it me every step of the way and was extremely apologetic about our experience.
Now that the bed is here I can honestly say it was worth the wait. We don’t wake up with back pain and we sleep so much better. I highly recommend this product and this bed company for anyone considering the purchase. My only advice is when the shipping company calls you to confirm your shipping - be sure to ask questions and confirm that they actually have the product in hand before you juggle your day around them !
