Upon determining that Selectabed had the features and quality I required, I contacted them directly and Juan worked with me answering all my questions. Questions regarding lead time to manufacture, fine point differences between 2 models I had selected, customizing a base to a low-profile height, etc. Juan worked the best deal possible for me with incentives in place at the time of my purchase and even provided some accessories not expected! " I spent a few weeks looking at beds. I was searching Sleep Number or Select Comfort and the Air-Pedic link came up along with a few others. Air-Pedic claims to have better materials and made in USA, both bonuses with me. I also like the one piece side construction. Eventually I called and was in touch with Gerald. He is very knowledgeable and has answers for everything. After the initial conversation he promptly followed up with an email summarizing our conversation. I went back to the Sleep Number store two more times. Looked online some more. Read positive and negitive reviews on Sleep Number's own web site. Searched for independendant reviews on all brands. I like refining the search to the lower ratings, because those people seem to get down to their specific issues. Not just, "best ever", or "this thing is great". Then a few weeks later I called Gerry back with more questions. He offered some adjustments and modifications to a custom bed and I ordered a bed. There is a four week manufacturing delay and then probably another week shipping to Michigan so I have never seen one of their products. "
