"Bought the pack of 10 pairs of pearl earrings for $14.99 + gemstone studs for $1.00.

1/2 of the pearls have chipped paint on them and the stems are bent. On a few of the pairs the paint does not even match. One of the pair is light yellow the other one is dark, etc. I know they're only $1.50 a pair, but I'm still a little disappointed.

May I please have a refund or replacement?

Refund offered, but I have to send it all back, which doesn't seem like it's worth the effort since I already had to take pictures of the product to prove that it was faulty. No replacement jewelry offered. They claim it's "against their policy". I was given a 20%-maximum $3.00 off of my next order. Big whoop.

I also was chided for not letting them know quickly enough. I received my jewelry on Wednesday and notified them on Friday. How is that not quickly enough?

They keep sending me emails yelling at me for not choosing the action "they" want to resolve the issue. I want a replacement or a refund without having to do anymore work...kapish?

This is not how you treat customers:

Step 1: Contact customer service that you received faulty merchandise.

Step 2: Receive email from customer service requesting photo of faulty merchandise to "prove" it is faulty.

Step 3: Take picture, load unto computer.

Step 4: Send photo to prove you have received faulty merchandise.

Step 5: Receive email "verifying" that the merchandise is, indeed, faulty.

Step 6: Be offered materials to return faulty merchandise since you have indeed proven it to be faulty.

Step 7: Wait for packaging materials to return faulty merchandise.

Step 8:Return faulty merchandise.

Step 9: Be granted credit towards "next purchase" due to faulty merchandise.

Step 10: Send reminder e-mail when you make your "next purchase" to customer service in order for granted credit to be honored.

Step 11: Hold breath to see if credit is actually granted since you put more work into getting it than you did applying for a passport.

Well, I gave them a shot. Never again. Buh-bye Shadora.

"I would like to share my thoughts about Shadora. I think the site is absolutely wonderful!! The jewelery for sale are very beautiful and some of the pieces are very unique. I have purchased items and was totally satisfied in every way. And I am proud to wear the pieces that I received. Just gorgeous!! I will be purchasing a lot more pieces in the future. Not only because of their beauty but the prices are unbeatable for the quality that you get in each and every piece. And I do have a really bad allergy problem when it comes to wearing jewelery but I haven't had any problems with any items that I wear from Shadora!! Thank you so very, very much Shadora!!!"

"its very intersting to see the good feedback on your items, i placed an order for a Diamond Accented Heart Pendant in Sterling Silver, shipping was fast, but the quality of the necklace is very cheap no (fake) diamonds at all it looked like someone copied a design on a piece of silver i cant wear it im embarrased to put on such a cheap looking piece of jewlery, and i have bought cheap jewlery before so i knew i wouldnt be getting anything major but this is unacceptable. "

"I purchased a cultured pearl stretch ring from Shadora. Upon arrival I was very pleased with it, and the shipping didn't take long. After wearing the ring for a couple weeks it began to turn my fingers green, and the "silver plated" beads turned into a brassy color instead of the silver they started out as. I never wore it to sleep or in the shower, and I took it off any time I was doing a difficult activity. I loved the ring, but I'm finding myself rather displeased now considering a few days after I got it I ordered a bracelet to match it. Hopefully that will have a longer life than my ring."

"Shadora is an amazing site for nice, beautiful and affordable jewelry. I received a beautiful jewelry box as a gift from my boyfriend (the one I wanted :) which came with a beautiful necklace too!) and it was beautiful, but sadly had some constructional damage..

I contacted Shadora customer service and had the very FORTUNATE and LUCKY chance to have met ITTY KAY.

She was so helpful and nice! Communication was excellent! She was able to contact the vendor for me because the product was sold out and it was SHIPPED within days and DELIVERED THE DAY AFTER SHIPPING! I contacted her Dec 26, 2011 and by Dec 29, 2011 I had my NEW JEWELRY BOX!!!!

She was a pleasure to work with! So helpful and upbeat, especially during this very busy holiday season. I would recommend SHADORA to EVERYONE for their nice and unique jewelry, but also for their EXCEPTIONAL customer service!

"I would love to post a review on the product I ordered but have not received it yet. The items shipped on the 13th and should have been here the 19th. I will say that Shadora customer service is quick to reply to your emails.

Once I get the items I will be sure to review them. Til then I'm not sure who is at blame for the delay of my items, the post office or Shadora.

EDIT: As I had mentioned above, customer service for Shadora is always helpful and quick to respond. I never received my item (is a shame, was really looking forward to the item I purchased) so I can not review the actual item(s) they sell. It seems as though I didn't receive the item because of UPS/USPS, not because of Shadora. They refunded me 100% for the items I never received, no questions asked, which was a relief to me.

"I placed 3 orders with Shadora over the holidays. Shipping is fast. I had a quality issue but they made it easy I emailed photos and they replaced the item and didn't even ask for me to return it which would have cost me a trip to the post office and shipping. Very impressed overall! "
