"I went onto their site to shop for Avery Labels. I found the labels I wanted for $3.17 per box ($3.04 if ordering 4 or more.) I then remembered that I had a 10% coupon email from them and went to use that. I logged on through that email to apply the coupon, and noticed that the price for the same item had jumped up considerably...I believe it was about $3.75-3.85 before the 10% discount.
I find this practice of inflating the price just to give a discount deplorable and I will not order again from them."

I found some self locking mailing boxes, a gem for writers who want to send manuscripts to agents or publishers. They are easy to assemble, beautifully designed, in white, solid corrugated construction, large enough for legal-sized paper and can contain up to 200 LBS, a marvelously engineered design. CONS: Here's the story:
I placed an order for a case of a special kind of tape. Advertised as a case of 24 rolls.
After two days, I got an email saying the item I ordered was backordered. So, I contacted live chat to see if I needed to cancel and get the order placed elsewhere, Chloe investigated, and told me that I could not cancel the order, because the item had already been placed for shipping! She apologized, but chaulked it all up their automated system: you know, these things happen! Right! So, the item in fact wasn't backordered after all. So far, a bit bumpy, but all okay.
A few days go by. We receive the case, but only 12 rolls are included. This is when I learned that they don't stand by their product descriptions. I called them to inform them that we only received 12 rolls instead of the advertised 24 rolls, and after speaking to a supervisor, Christie S. in customer service told me it was a listing error and there was very little they could do about it. They wouldn't refund the rolls I didn't receive, and they wouldn't send out the missing rolls. They offered a small monitary discount, not even close to the cost of the missing rolls, or offered a return. We need this tape! I don't have the rolls I need on time already because of their error - and although they offered a return of the item, we have already started using the tape. I am appalled that they refused to stand by what they sold me in the product description. They admitted their own error, and then refused to rectify the situation by either completing the order, or refunding me the half that were missing.
Now, I'm stuck. I'm going to take their ridiculous monitary discount on the original case, but I now have to buy a completely new case from them (of 12 rolls, even though their description still says 24 rolls/case). I can't tell now whether I could have purchased 24 actual rolls elsewhere because instead of buying a case of 24 like I wanted to in the first place, I'm stuck buying 2 cases of 12 from these nincompoops, becuase of their errors and their unwillingness to reasonably complete this order.
