"Purchased lens on Tuesday and paid reasonable fee for 2nd air. Got lens on time. I like the fact that they call to confirm cc payments. I feel safer. Lens (Sigma 120-400mm) was exactly what I wanted and brand new with warranty."
"I bought Tamron 90mm. Cheap price, fast shipping. But expensive shipping cost and not well package. I did not see any warranty card."
"Ordered my Camera early Sunday morning. Received it Thursday. The shipping was slow for a shipping cost of almost #30! Sigma4less definitely is a bit cheaper than most stores for a US version. It sells both Greymarket and US models but you need to make sure you order the US one.
Two things I didn't like about this store is
1. Shipping is not free and it is TOO EXPENSIVE!
2. I was a bit nervous opening up my my 40D from the box because this box came with a kit lens, however the box was opened because I ordered the body only and SIGMA4LESS took it out from there.
However I checked the shutter count of the camera, there were no shots taken on it before so therefore it was not used.
I was neither satisfied nor disatisfied."
"Ordered a Nikon Coolpix P80 from this company. They were the cheapest anywhere on the web.
I got the camera in no time! 3 days!!
It also came with a Nikon 2 year extended warranty.
They sent me a UPS tracking #.
They replied to my emails the very next morning ... as i always sent them after closing hours.
You CAN'T beat their prices, and they do have USA warranty items.
My item was ordered from "Photovideo4less" .. same company as "Sigma 4 less".
I couldn't be happier with their swift response time.
Kudos "Photo4less".
I look forward to saving big $$$ with you in the coming months, with USA products.
Way to go Dave E., and the rest of the staff.
5 stars out of 5!
Thank you,
David"
"DO NOT buy from Sigma4less/Photo4less if you want to save trouble.
I purchased a $1000 dollar worth of lens from Sigma4Less. The lens was completed destroyed due to a very poor packaging. I called customer service and was asked to ship it back for investigation on my own money. They said they would credit back my return shipping later, they lied. After the lens delivered to their warehouse, it took 4 days and many phone calls (they don’t respond to emails at all) to make them admit it was broken. They promised to ship me a new one right away with express shipping, they lied. Next days I called again, they told me they were out of stock and cancelled my order. I check their website and found the lens was in stock with higher price. They just wanted to sell it for higher price.
For 3 weeks, I got nothing but hassle and extra expense of return shipping due to their mistake. Their customer service is the worst.
I will never ever do business with this vendor.

"This company also operates as Photo4Less. After reading the mixed reviews of this company on this site, I had a lot of concerns. I was going to order over $5,000 of photo equipment. It didn't help when I found their address in Brooklyn.
Instead of ordering online I called and got names. I got the feeling it was a small company and I feel thats good, cause I don't like impersonal phone banks.
My credit card was turned down (credit companies effort to stop fraud- cleared by my phoned in assurance)and I had the chance to talk to the bookkeeper.
They shipped my order the next day and I got confirmation - received in 7 days; packed well.
Overall a good experience and they saved me a lot of money. I recommend them."
"Had finally decided to get myself a SLR setup with the possibility of getting some close up pictures of some wildlife. At first I was skeptical of buying something that expensive on the internet, but the difference in price was simply to tempting. Had my eyes on B&H at first, but just as I had decided on the Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX APO DG HSM in combo with a Nikon D300 they increased the prices on all their Sigma lenses. Found that I could save $200 if I bought from www.sigma4less.com on the lens alone. Not knowing much about sigma4less I decided to split my order in two and evaluate how well an order for the lens alone was handled before buying the camera and a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
I ordered the lens online, 2 hours after I got an email asking me to email or fax a verification of my visa card, I used a non-USA card so I was expecting that. About 1 hour after having emailed them the verification I got an email confirming shipping and a a UPS tracking number. 3 days later I received the well packed Sigma lens in original USA box including all the needed paper stuff, surrounded by ca. 5 cm of styrofoam on all sides inside the shipping package. Very happy with the lens, amazed that it was shipped the same day as I ordered it, and decided to buy the camera same place.
I ordered a Nikon D300 and a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 same day as I got the Sigma 50-500mm lens. This time I didn't need to verify my visa card. The camera and lens shipped the following day and arrived as expected ... Notice that UPS ground does not deliver during the weekend. Again packing was excellent with large quantities of styrofoam and both lens and camera in original USA boxes including all the paperwork. All in all very satisfied with buying from sigma4less; fast shipping, low price and a good homepage. Since everything went very smooth, it actually makes me incapable of evaluating service level - a couple of very(!) short emails is all the communication needed. I would recommend them to a friend and I will probably buy the next lens there myself.
Cheers"
"I did receive a lens in a gift box NOT the manufacturer's box. When I called to order my lens I asked specifically for a US lens NOT an import. They promised that they were in fact US lenses. I received an imported lens in a GIFT box NOT the Canon manufacturer box. When I called they told me I did not receive it in the manufacturer's box becasue I did not ask for it to be sent in the manufacturer (Canon) box. ???? They then told me it was becasue they split up a "kit" and that the lens had originally been in a "kit" and they separated them. This automatically I was told they are being investigated. They are NOT upfront and if they are going to sell discounted lenses because they are refurbished or imported they should be honest about it! "
"i ordered 2 different lenses, the first was a teleconverter from sigma, i did not know that it was only compatable with specific lenses, which i did not have, the second was a sigma 30mm f1.4 which i was not satisfied with, they returned them with no problem. would buy from them again"
"Ordered Nikon SF210.
Order processed and shipped after 24h following entry on the shop website.
Item price very good, shipment a bit high cost.
Packed OK. I had to pay customs"
"I ordered the Canon Rebel Xsi and repeatedly received e-mails confirming my order. I thought it was odd, but nothing else of it. Two business days later, I received an e-mailed asking me to call. They asked me if I had a listed telephone number. I don't know why it mattered that my phone is not listed, but I didn't have a listed number. They asked me for my business number, but I don't have one because I am a student. They then asked me where I go to school, and when I said MIT, had the gall to ask me if it was a 4-year university. They then asked me for MIT's office line, so they could confirm that I was a student. Three days passed and I never received tracking information for the camera, so I called them, and they said that I didn't send an e-mail to them. I asked them what e-mail they were referring to, and they said that they sent me many e-mails and I never responded. I told them that I had called, and the woman on the phone said, but you didn't e-mail. I responded that I wasn't asked to e-mail them, and asked them to send my camera. They sent it the next day. They were just sitting on it waiting for an unnecessary e-mail. How weird!"
"I ordered a Sigma 10-20mm from these guys on May 7th.
On May 8th I get a PO# and USPS tracking number. So far so good.
After 3 weeks, still no lens and the tracking number doesn't give me any information. I emailed Sigma4less asking where the heck my lens is. They reply that they'll put a trace on the package and get back to me.
I email them again after a few days. They had no new info regarding the original order, but said they'd ship out a new lens on June 6th.
Now I have another USPS tracking number that still doesn't tell me anything.
It's been over 4 weeks now since the original purchase and still no lens. I'll keep you posted, but so far I'm not impressed."
"This was my first order on Sigma4less.com, also knows as Photo 4 Less. I read some good reviews on the web to these guys and the prices are good.
I ordered 3 lenses: 2 Sigma and 1 Tamron. I ordered the USA version for the Tamron zoom 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di because the samples variations I read everywhere.
When the order arrived to my office I was out for a business trip, I returned 2 weeks later.
Once at home I begun to test all lenses, I did not notice that the Tamron zoom was an imported version (or grey market). The 2 Sigma lenses worked great but the Tamron looked out of focus, I decided to check this issue next day because I was too tired.
The next day the tests told me that the Tamron lens has serious focus problems at 17mm and back focus at 50mm. The lens was unacceptable at any focal range.
I went to Sigma4less.com and read about his 7 days return policy, so I decided to register the lens on Tamron for warranty. But the Tamron page did not accept the lens serial number. Then called Tamron and explain the problem, they ask me the serial number and told me that this was a grey market lens. I asked why because the Invoice said USA version. The Tamron guy asks me where I bought the lens, I answered Sigma4Less, he said: “They usually do this”.
Next day I called Sigma4Less, explained the problem to David, he accepted their error but toll me that they could not accept the lens because I opened the box and used it. I insisted because it was their mistake, but I only got an offer for a MACK warranty. He said that MACK will repair the defect or will exchange for a new lens.
Today, 2 weeks from the first call to Sigma4less.com and 4 more calls to David; I did not get the MACK warranty. On last call on Friday I got a “Call me back in 30 minutes”, then when I made the call exactly 30 minutes later I got an answered machine explain that they were closed until next Monday.
I will keep this post updated.

"Excellent! I placed the order on Monday and the lens was delivered on Wednesday!"
"Sigma 4 Less (the invoice arrived showing Photo 4 Less, and they acknowledge both names on the phone) turned out to be a remarkable surprise... although based on others' reviews here I guess I should not have been surprised at all.
Ordered a Nikon D300 from them as the price was about $150 less than everyone else, after waiting for six months for the price to come down. It actually hasn't come down, although there are several online etailers selling it for a few dollars less than the $1,799 price I can buy it at in a local store. Strangely, there are MANY online etailers trying to charge much more than this price, which is odd since I can buy it in a brick-and-mortar store for the same price as 99% of etailers sell it for online.
Sigma 4 Less had the absolute lowest online price I could find, for other than a "gray market" non-US model [theoretically] available from questionable online sellers at enormous discounts.
Anyway, I placed my order by phone after starting the online ordering process but not seeing an "https://" address. I won't enter my information if the order dialog is not "secure".
They said they'd been having some online problems and were working on it, but were willing to take my order by phone. I was a bit skeptical, but they assured me it was absolutely the US model with full US warranty, brand-new-in-a-box. Promise. They said it would ship the next day.
The price was right, and I pulled the trigger. Later that same day I received an email from UPS (via the etailer) providing the tracking number and showing estimated delivery about 5 days later (Monday after the weekend).
Sure enough Monday arrived, and UPS delivered a brand new-in-a-box US-model D300 with proper serial number and US warranty!!!
I am totally satisfied, and will absolutely buy from these people in the future (assuming price advantage, of course). No hesitation."
