"I ordered a Nikon 18-55 VR lens from Sigma4Less, listed as New with a USA warranty. The price was about 18% less than the online camera store I usually use for a USA model, and about 6% less than a Grey Market version.

The lens I received was New, and did come with a Nikon USA warranty. It was, however, obviously a "kit pull" (a lens from a pre-packaged "camera with lens" kit that had been removed from the kit), shipped in a plain cardboard box, rather than retail packaging. This is NOT a problem for me. I plan on using the lens on my own camera, and it is new with the appropriate warranty. However, had I been planning to give this lens as a gift, I would be upset, as I think it should have been noted in the ad. Additionally, receiving it this way means that it does not come with the lens case that would be in the retail package. This is irritating, as I would have liked the case to store my older, non-VR 18-55 when it is not in use. However, the lack of a case is made up for by the significant reduction in price. In fairness, the case was not noted in the "Item includes" section of the website. As the case IS part of Nikon's retail kit, that should have acted as a tip that it was not the full package.

The website is easy to use. Even though I selected the least expensive shipping option, the item shipped via UPS ground the next day, and I had it very quickly. The lens was well packed, with all necessary warranty and instruction paperwork.

One additional item. I bought from "Sigma4Less". The box was labelled from "Photo4Less", and the website noted on the receipt was photovideo4less.com, so there appears to be a bunch of related companies here. Not a problem from where I stand, but noteworthy.

I would buy from them again, and I am comfortable with the purchase. However, I will give them a 1-step downgrade for not noting the item lacks retail packaging. Notwithstanding that, I am satisfied with my purchase, and would use them again, with appropriate scrutiny on the items."

edit- I have now received a credit back from the company on my statement. However no follow up email was ever sent saying such.
