"I ordered two of their 80mm case fans to make my case quieter. They worked perfectly, and even reduced my case temperature by 2 degrees celsius. The only fans I can hear from my case are the power supply and processor fan, which I will replace soon. When there was an error with the postal service, they answered my email quickly. I would buy from them again, and probably will. This place was actually cheaper than the resellers I could find. I only wish they would offer UPS as a shipping option."

"bought the 400w power supply. super product. super quiet. so quiet that it made me realize how loud my other fans, hard drive and motherboard are. i had an asus a7n8x mobo that always let out a loud high pitched whine thru one of the coils, that can also be heard thru the speakers. then i switched to a pentium 4 cpu and mobo, and no more whine!

"As a UK buyer I was happily surprised to find that Silenx were only too happy to ship to the UK and allow me to pay via Paypal. So few US companies do this, meaning they miss out on a lot of trade.

The items (450W iXtrema PSU, MCX-478V HSF, and 3x Silenx fans) arrived quickly, securely packaged and in perfect condition.

I was really impressed with the build quality. Each item had a nice 'heavy' feel. I fitted all items into my newly built HTPC and fired up. All I can say is "Wow".

Before purchasing these items, I was considering going down the water-cooling route for my rig but not needing to overclock, this seemed excessive. Now that I have my Silenx setup, I won't be considering W/C anymore. I never would have believed air-cooling could be this quiet.

I initially thought I had a faulty PSU. It seemed to be vibrating. I fired off a few questions to customer services. Matt from Silenx responded quickly and politely, offering to exchange the unit if there was a problem (remember, I'm in the UK!). Anyway, it turned out that the vibration was caused by a loose piece of casing I had missed (D'oh!). After a quick adjustment, I can honestly say that this Silenx kit is the most impressive range of 'stock' PC hardware I have ever seen. Period.
