"My third chair at a grand a pop was ordered online on 9/6. To be fair, the first two were received in days. I did not hear a word back until 9/19 when an e-mail advised me a part on the chair was backordered for an additional 2 weeks. Just called and amazingly the part will allegedly be recieved today and the chair will ship tomorrow. I told the customer service rep on the phone of my dissatisfaction and the response was " you will get better service if you call us instead of ordering online. Hopefully the online service will get better once we update our systems". She went on to tell me if I call direct, I will get assigned a "rep" and somehow that will make all the difference. From where I sit, it is a classic case of " if we tell you the part is backordered, you might go elsewhere. If we string you along and hope you get busy and don't notice that weeks have gone by without any communication from us, we might still be able to salvage the order." Well I am pretty sure this is my last chair from them. Too bad, I have a whole office of chairs to replace."
"not good. ordered chair about a week ago heard nothing from them. Called today and was told that it was on back order and they wouldn't have in stock for another 4 weeks. Then he tried to upsell me. I hope they credit my account timely for the cancellation.

"i would recommend staying away from this company. My mother ordered a chair as a gift for my birthday - this was 2 weeks ago. I just got off the phone with customer service and was so disappointed that I felt compelled to find a way to let others know what a terrible experience to expect when ordering from this company. The customer service representative was friendly, but the news she gave me was very unwelcome. It took about 10 minutes for the rep just to find the order record. They had managed to mix up billing/shipping information - it was paid for with my mothers credit card which was promptly charged. The name and address attached to the credit card charged would normally show up as the billing address - but no, they had somehow managed to put my name and address in their bill to records and were ready to ship the chair to my mom's address on the other side of the u.s. As it turns out though, the chair hasn't even been shipped. The customer service rep let me know that it is out of stock and will be 2-3 weeks until it arrives at their facility, plus another week until it gets to me. That means i might get my chair 5 weeks after having ordered it. Since then neither of us have received an order confirmation nor any updates on the order status. The chair ordered is not a custom chair, and as of today, the website still lists it as in stock. Reading other reviews it seems this is common practice for this company, and their excuse of having system problems right now is unacceptable. From the other reviews i've read it sounds like getting a refund is another huge hassle - wonderful. Get it together sit4less, or get out of the business of sales. "

"After my order was placed, and no shipping information was forthcoming, I emailed the company and was told my chair was a special order and would take 2 to 4 weeks to arrive! It's still not here, so I can only comment on the poor communication experienced with sit4less. They've also already billed my credit card which is disappointing. "
"Their website gave no indication that my chair would be a custom order with a month's turnaround time. The confirmation email also didn't indicate this. The only way I got an estimated arrival date was to go ask them via live chat. "

"The worst online ordering experience I've ever had. It took a little over 5 weeks to get my money refunded on a return, and only after many emails, calls and finally this negative review prompted action from them. There were several other other really frustrating things about the order: The chairs arrived 3 weeks after my order date, which I was not aware of when placing the order. Unfortunately, I had to return the chairs and the return process was painful every step of the way. It took 2 weeks to get return labels from Sit4Less. Once they finally received the returned chairs, I never got a confirmation email that they'd been received. I emailed 2 weeks later to check in on the return status and was in email and phone contact with them for 2 weeks and kept being told that I could expect a refund within 1-3 business days which never happened. Communication was unclear, spotty, never prompt, and the whole process took many many weeks longer than I ever expected. Horrible business practices."
