"I ordered a product meant for a Christmas gift - there was no verbiage on the site or in my order confirmation email indicating the product would require additional time for processing and/or shipping. When I called SkyMall Customer Service on the 24th of Dec to find out what on earth was happening with the order, they told me it would arrive by 1/2. Since this gift was meant for my niece on the other side of the country, I was extremely disheartened by this - it's hard to explain to a 4 yr old why Auntie has nothing for you for Christmas. SkyMall Customer Service was disappointing - No apologies for the issue, no partial credit for shipping, nothing.
The gift also did not actually end up arriving by 1/2 - it finally arrived on 1/17. My queries to customer service via their web/email interface were not responded to, despite confirmation of "acceptance" emails from the site.
Just a terribly disappointing experience overall."
"DO NOT buy from Skymall!! Customer service does not respond, there is no longer a phone number to dial as it directs you back to website. My order was Backordered for weeks and I tried to cancel it through emails and their online submittal, no response. 3 weeks later I get a confirmation that my order shipped and they billed my account. Sky mall is going out of business and they are doing everything they can to steal people's money. "

"Worst on-line business I have ever dealt with. Placed my order on January 25th. Didn't hear back after receiving same day confirmation for the next 4 business days. I emailed SkyMall on the 29th inquiring when to expect shipping information. SkyMall replied that the item would ship in 7 days. 7 days and no shipping information. After multiple emails stating this I canceled the order and had this confirmed by SkyMall and received the following email:
