Communication was never lacking and the little things like prepaying/creating a return slip straight from their website made the experience less confusing and less of a hassle. "Products as advertised, fast shipping and good prices. However if you have a problem with a product that's where you will have problems. I returned a sub woofer amp/speaker combo, it had an intermittent problem of powering down as if someone pulled the plug.
Every time I checked all the connections they had power. It would do this anywhere from a couple of hours at a time to doing it just minutes a part. Sonic Techs could not duplicate the problem and according to the first person I talked to he said they only powered the sub for 20 minutes and blessed it as OK and it must be something I'm doing wrong. They were holding my Sub hostage and would not return it unless I paid a ransom of return shipping and a service charge that totaled $42.00. I cannot believe they would do this to a customer, why would I send them a working unit? what would I have to gain? Well after a heated discussion with someone named josh he finally agreed to return the sub for free but he disqualified my remaining warranty (six months) I get the sub back and after about an hour of playing it failed again! I waited about an hour and it played fine for about 15 minutes and shut down again...repeat and rinse. So guess what, I got hosed! In the future a box store will get my business, yes it will cost me a few more dollars but a Best Buy would have made good on this without question.
This is a follow up to the above post....Dylan has come to the rescue once again. He had me return the sub on their dime and it was replaced with a new unit. I would have changed my rating to a 5 star but like I told Dylan on the phone I don't understand why it took the route it took to get where I wanted to be. I will make my next electronic purchase with Sonic.

"Sonic was great! I ordered a new head unit for my old Ford Explorer. I received it 2 days later! I gave them the wrong info about the stock configuration, so they sent me the wrong wiring harness. I called them, told them I had made a mistake and fully expected to be charged for them to send me the right harness. I was pleasantly surprised that the rep I talked to was so friendly and helpful, and sent me the new wiring harness at no cost. Excellent experience!"
"I ordered a factory refurbished JVC in dash gps/audio unit for my Honda from Sonic Electronix with the free mounting kit required for installation. What I received was not factory refurbished at all. The unit had been installed by someone else, returned full of glue, missing parts and instructions and a cut up wiring harness. The free dash kit was the wrong model number and wouldn't work with the unit sent. To add insult to injury, they required me to pay for shipping back to their California store. Poor attention to detail, bad product description, and still waiting for a refund. Stay away!
Update 7-15-2013.
Sonic refunded my money for the stereo unit and return shipping costs, and provided the proper dash installation kit. They were apologetic for the errors made. Upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars due to better customer service on the return. "

"Very seamless ordering process: radios that will fit vehicle are displayed; wiring harness and face plates that match are included at no extra charge; the correct antenna adapter is offered; shipping was free and fast. It would have been very helpful to also suggest the special radio removal tool that I needed to remove the existing radio. To remove the radio, I had to drive my motor home to a car audio installation place. No local FRYs or auto supply store carries the tool. The radio/CD player(Kenwood KDC-152) was basic but a good value. The instructions for installation were clear. For my application (2006 Dodge Sprinter), I did have to
modify the wiring by connecting red to yellow and yellow to red instead of yellow to yellow and red to red. I figured this out when the radio wouldn't "remember" the programing after the vehicle was shut off."
