"Ordered the BTA6250D subtube from Bazooka. Shipping to the Netherlands would be no problem. Just cost me $133,-. Okay, still cheaper then buying it here in a store. Ordered it on April 1st and received it on April 16th in the original manufacturers box without any extra protection. As you can guess the subtube with built in amplifier was damaged after the 5500 miles trip. The same day I sent the claims form to Sonic Electronix with pictures. After 6 days not hearing anything I started calling with Sonic Electronix. To make a long story short: after 10 calls with either USPS or Sonic Electronixs I was informed that their 'claims officer' will look into this on May 10th. USPS unfortunately informed me today (may 7th) that the Dutch delivery company should have received a notification from Sonic or me (the receiver) 7 days after the 24th April... I have spent nearly 2 hours on the phone so far (quite a long distance call you might say) and Sonic Electronix has not done anything to help or speed up the process. I hope that something will happen before summer is over...
Update May 29th 2013:
Thanks to the interaction of Customers Satisfaction Specialist Dylan I have received a new Bazooka BTA6250D in good order! Sonic Electronix is going to settle the claim with USPS and decided not to let me wait until the outcome of it. The subtube was very well packed and shipped. I can claim the import taxes back so I (finally) have my desired subtube for the price I had hoped. I have changed my rating about Sonic Electronix because they have showed that the service is excellent after all. The claims officer did not live up to the five star service Sonic Electronix would like to provide but Dylan P. did everything to give this issue a positive outcome. My recent purchase was a similar positive one. My order arrived a few days ahead of when I thought it would and everything arrived in perfect condition. "I recently ordered a wireless TV audio transmitter and head set from this company. It was an RCA model. I actually orded two sets as my wife watches a lot of TV. A stereo connector was not included with the orders so I called customer service and was told to buy a stereo connector. I went to Radio Shack & Best Buy and neither business had the correct connection or in Radio Shack's case they sold me a labeled "stereo" female to female connector that was not stereo. Finally went to an automobile stereo shop and they tested the bad connection and sold me the correct stereo connection for $20 bucks. The Sonics Electronics product was the RCA Wireless headphones w/ 900MHz Transmitter. The cost was about $54 per unit including shipping. This is exactly what we needed for our hearing impairment condition.
The review may be a little long winded but this product is definitely a good alternative to the "TV Ears" product."

I placed my order on 3/9/13, Resolution was on 4/17/13
I placed the order and received my product very quickly. I dismantled my truck went to put my radio in and it wasn't compatible. Went to their website and it said it was compatible. I contacted Customer Service and found their website was wrong.
I had to return my radio. I eventual got my "FULL" refund. What happened inbetween?
Spoke to 6 different people. Had a partial refund, had wrong information sent to me twice. Had to keep contacting them to solve my problem. I had to do all the leg work for this order.
So 6 contacts, a dozen emails, reminding them to reimburse the full amount and 5 weeks of time, it has been settled.
What was offered for my troubles? Sorry and $5 off my next purchase.
A company isn't judged on how well they do when things go well but how well they do when things go wrong.

Thank you for your feedback. Again SE has given wrong information about this return. EVERYTHING was sent back, install kit included. I am not sure if this problem is with all returns or just mine. I hope it isn't systemic.
Plus, putting "it did not fit properly" and not put that it was due to incorrect information on the company's website sounds like I had a part in the problem of this return. Just own up and don't try to be political on review sites.
Update 4-23-13
Wow, defensive and trying to place the customer at fault. My complaint wasn't over the $4!!!! It was over the 5 weeks, multiple emails, phone calls and all the work I had to do to get the $4. It turned into the princple of the matter, not just the $4.
1. If you believe your website to be correct and so does the customer, then why would I need expert staff? The only time I needed expert staff was when your website gave me wrong information. Then they told me to go to the website and pick another one. That was the advice of your "expert staff"
2. Free shipping was advertised, not a special arrangement between you and I. I am sure you check your margins before offering "anything" to your customer.
3. I already spoke to your Customer Serivce about the install kit, they investigated it and found I had returned it. But you state that I did not, why? Are you on the same page as your other coworkers?
Why can't you just say, "sorry" and leave it at that? Is there a reason why the hole needs to be dug deeper? This issue had been closed, but then you comeback on there and try to justify your actions again.
6 1/2 WEEKS!!!!! and I am still having to dealing with this!!! I tell you what, just reply, "Sorry for the inconvenience",and let it go.
While your at it. Who should I send my timecard to? This is turning into a part time job."
