"I ordered a subwoofer from SonicElectronix.com yesterday (3/26/13) with free shipping. I was surprised to see a carrier that was unknown to me listed for the delivery, OnTrac. I looked up reviews and saw some really terrible stuff on Yelp and began to worry, but I just hoped for the best and kept tracking my package. Today I saw that it was out for delivery, but after reading all the reviews I didn't really feel very confident that I would receive it today. Sure enough, my package arrived around lunch time today (3/27/13). I am always thrilled when I receive one day shipping for free. Thanks SonicElectronix and OnTrac! "

"Placed an order for a flip screen dvd player and a navi box. I received the items within a reasonable amount of time. Upon installation of the components I noticed I have received the wrong plug for the navi box. I called customer service and they told me they will ship out the right part right away. Needless to say it has been over two weeks and still no part. I just called them back and it has not been shipped yet. One of the worst customer service I have experienced. I will not order from here again and warn others of this place.

Yes I revived the right harness and I have installed it problem is it will only show a black screen. I have called numerous times to get the we will get back to you promptly. Lol its been almost a month and still no word in fact sonic electronix just replied to my initial review check the dates. Its funny how you can pride yourself on customer service on review boards but in reality soniceletronix is very unreliable. Oh and buy the way the navigator unit still is inoperable and have yet to get a return call from a technician.

"Order was shipped in a timely fashion. Ordered just before Christmas. Didn't get around to installing one of the items for about 2 1/2 months. One of the items was missing parts and was defective. Because they no longer stocked the item, they issued a partial refund to cover the cost of the parts from the manufacturer."

Received item and installed it no problem.little long on the shipping but I am more than.impressed with the actually item itself.

Update: More bad news from sonicelectronix.. if you want a return forget it...its been a week since i sentt in a rma request and not a peep out of them just a pending....and pending doesnt help me none...very dissapointed here.

"UPDATED review: As it turns out there were some miscommunications in my previous dealing with the customer service @ Sonic. Also, apparently some "1-2 days" items I had ordered were out of stock longer and I did not know why the status of the order was changed to what it was. I received an email from Dylan who was able to clear up the miscommunications and switch my store credit to a refund, so I am updating the review to a better (but still not great) score. I still feel like I should have been offered a refund to begin with instead of the previous CSR just assuming I wanted store credit even though I had explained my problem and I thought it fairly obvious that I needed a refund. This was the first time I've been given store credit since I used to trade games in for store credit at a local game store before it got bought by GS. Other than that I have never been given store credit in my life...

Original review:

I ordered some cheap speakers to put in my car before trade-in but they sucked a lot more than expected so I agreed to pay their stupid restocking fee to return them. So they charge me that, plus they don't refund the shipping cost of course as I didn't expect them to, but then on top of that they went and gave me store credit?! A restocking fee AND store credit?!

So, fine, I place an order for random stuff since I don't need any car audio stuff anymore. A small Leatherman pocket knife (the kind that are legal even for minors to have), etc. Two weeks later nothing's shipped even though they said the stuff was in stock, so I log onto the site and they say the status is "phone verification." I don't know why they think they need that, but it's totally unacceptable. Ship my order without calling me. Just ship it. NOW.
