"I ordered a calendar on 3/12/12, received an email that day stating it had shipped, and still have no calendar. I emailed twice last week and received no response until I contacted Barnes and Noble customer service (I ordered from SBD through B&Ns website). Then SBD emailed (like a week after I emailed them) saying it hadn't shipped until the 14th and I had to wait 4-14 days before they would offer a refund or ship another. The Postal Service website says Media Mail (how it was shipped, no tracking number, of COURSE) only takes 2-8 days! What's the hold-up, Super Book Deals? This company SUCKS! I doubt I will ever receive my calendar OR a refund, after reading everyone else's reviews. I will NEVER order from them again...this calendar could've gone to China and back in the amount of time it's been so far. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!"

"I live in Australia, I put my order in on 28/1/2012 so I didn't expect the shipping process to start until 31/1/2012 anyway, I thought 14days shipping too "down under" would be long enough, i sent an email on 10/2 and recieved a response saying they would be there around the 20/2, great I thought, uni starts on the 20/2, I'll have them then...not a chance...4 emails sent...no response..I contacted my bank, they said it will take 60-70 days to resolve. Sent another email to Superbookdeals letting them know I had contacted my bank....and WOW recieved an email, please verify your address, my response...if you haven't already sent the books I can't wait 3 more weeks. Another email from them saying it takes 20 business days to ship, well today was 21st business day...still no books!!! I have put a sign up @ my university telling the other 5000 students to not deal with this company!!! "

"I have also had the 'pleasant' experience of having SuperBookDeals refuse to answer my requests for a refund after I shipped a textbook back to them to return the book.

Has anybody attempted to report / take action in regards to this horrible merchant? I would greatly appreciate any input from anyone about how to handle the situation. It seems that numerous people have the same complaint, and it is unfair and unjust for this company to steal money from people.

I ordered a book from them for school. Delivery window online was listed as 4-14 business days. It is now 30 days later, and the item has not arrived.

I had to email the seller TWICE to receive any sort of response, and it took them over 3 days to respond. When I explained my situation to them I was told in an email "to be patient" and that my order would take 4-6 weeks to arrive, regardless of it being listed as 4-14 days.

I was forced to buy the book from my school's bookstore for TWICE the price.

Unprofessional and ridiculous treatment of its customers. The average of 1-star ratings of this seller is well-deserved. "

I received my book on Jan 17th, in time to start my class. This company was difficult to contact, but always returned my EMails, in a timely manner. They waited 3 DAYS LATER to tell me it had "already shipped" but I didn't receive it until 3 WEEKS after I heard this lie. Misrepresented the book and then would not respond to inquiries about a refund afterward. Countless attempts to contact, continued no reply. I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. "The worst book buying experience I've had in all of my undergraduate and graduate school career. I've had to get an extension on an assignment because I still don't have a book. You would think if something from INDIANA shipped on the 4th it would have arrived just a few states over in no more than 5 days. It's now been 2 weeks and nothing. Not having a tracking number is one of the worst ways of doing business that I can think of. And the returns process for people in my situation who have to go somewhere else to buy a book while waiting for the book I ordered to come in is ridiculous. Making the buyer pay for shipping and have a product returned within 30 days is a bit unfair when people have waited upwards of a month to even get the damn thing. Running a bookstore that sells college textbooks that take this long to arrive is laughable. Do they think college kids buy their books a month or more in advance?? No, try a week or two. I agree with another reviewer who said the high rating of this merchant on B&N website is very misleading."
