"I purchased a book on 12/10/11. I still have not recieved it. I wrote 3 times to customer service and never recieved a response. I called Barnes and Noble and they said it had shipped on the 10th and had no way of tracking it. Stay away."
"I placed an order for 3 books on December 29th, and have not recieved the books even now on January the 20th. I don't suggest you order anything from this website. The "cheap" deal you think you are getting will end up costing you in money, time and stress. They do not give any tracking numbers, have no confirmation nubmers or information, and are very vague with any sort of help or information about your order. I don't believe they even a valid or real company. They are definitely not one you want to get mixed up with. I will be very surprised if I actually get my refund from them. "
"I ordered a book that arrived in a timely fashion, however the return process was a nightmare!! I shipped the book back USPS Priority, with tracking. It was received Dec 19th. They continued to insist they never received the return,evev after I sent them ALL the shipping information. Finally I called customer service @ Barnes and Nobels, and today I finally heard from SuperBookDeals, who have now aknowleged my return!! SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!!! From Dec 19th to Jan 4th!!! I will not use them again!!!

"VERY BAD. I ordered a book via the Barnes and Noble web site from Superbookdeals on 12/15/2011. My credit card was charged the same day. I have not received my order to date. I sent an inquiry to Superbookdeals and received a response advising that the book was shipped on 12/19 via USPS Media Mail and could not be traced. They advised that my order would arrive by 1/6/12 within 4 to 14 business days of the ship date. Contrary to Barnes and Noble policy my credit card was charged prior to the order being shipped. I sent an email to B&N service and they responded that they had contacted Superbookdeals and the order had been shipped on 12/15/2011 and I should wait until 1/17/12 before contacting them again if I have not received it. Very unsatisfactory service from both vendors. SuperBookDeals gets a 4 out of 5 star rating on barnesandnoble.com. Very misleading.

"I too have had the same issue as most people with superbookdeals.com. I ordered through the Barnes and Nobles website. I ordered my book on 10/23 and as of today have not received the book. I emailed Barnes and Nobles and was told to contact superbookdeals. I emailed superbookdeals only to be told to go to their website and submit complaint through a different channel. I did that and the same person who advised me to submit complaint on website answered that complaint. Why didn't they just answer my question then instead of having me run in circles. Then I was told it was sent and that it takes 14 busisness days to receive and the method of sending is nontraceable. I emailed them back and advised I ordered late Oct and it is now mid Dec and that was well beyond the 14 days and what were their plans to either refund the money or send the book. Of course, I have not had a response and don't expect one.
I already submitted a feedback survey to Barnes and Nobles and plan to call Barnes and Nobles for a resolution as they are the ones that allow this book seller to sell books on their site. Barnes and Nobles is responsible too.
I recommend to not purchase books through superbookdeals they do not come through on their side of the agreement."
"Horrible, horrible horrible. I was emailed that the book WAS shipped on 12/11. They said " was" , not going to be, not will be. Two days later on 12/13, I get an email that they were processing a refund to my credit card. There is no explanation or reason given. Took three calls to Barnes and Noble and a supervisor to find out the book was not " available". No info given as to when book might be "available".
Do not believe anything they say...they are a third party vendor a nd could care less"

There is no phone number listed anywhere on their website so that's your first clue about their commitment to customer service. Second clue, online, they use an automated response system to answer your questions about your order. I will be contacting B&N and strongly suggesting they ditch superbookdeals. Its over 2 weeks since I placed my order and no sign of it. How the heck can a book take 2 weeks to go from Indiana to Oregon?"
"I've used textbooks.com for awhile now and have never had a problem with the orders placed directly from them. However, recently I dealt with one of their marketplace providers and they have absolutely tarnished their good name. I trusted textbooks.com to only suggest retailers that had good business practices! I quickly came to learn that I haven't been the only person wronged by SuperBookDeals!
I placed my order on 10/24. I had to follow-up because I started my class without this critical book. They said it would arrive 11/15 - 16 business days later! UNACCEPTABLE. Today, on the date of expected arrival, I get an email saying that they messed up my address (not sure how that can happen) and the book was being sent back to their location and would take another 7-10 business days. I've request a refund ASAP but I bet I'll have to follow-up on that too. Thanks a lot textbooks.com for suggesting an awful option to a once loyal customer. Now, I just wish I could get a refund on the class that will cost me $2K...

I ordered the used book 9/23, did not recieve anything until 2 weeks from the ordered date and the USPS told me it has been returned to the seller as they did not put my apt #.
so i e-mailed them for my refund.
10/13 they sent me a email saying that they recieved returned packet and initiated my refund.(and said it will take 1-3 business days)
Today is 11/9, i did not recieve any refund nor any respond from seller.
I had to contact with Textbooks.com for my inquiry and Finally Textbooks.com is fighting with them for my refund.

"This is the most slowest, unprofessional place I have ever ordered a book from. I ordered my book almost a month ago and it said it will be at my place within 2-14 days, and it is way past 14 days. I'm behind in my school work because I've been waiting for this textbook. Then when I request to know where my book is, they send a generic email saying they are unable to track my book. They don't have a phone number to reach them on their website, therefore I had to do my own research to find their number and call them; which I shouldn't have to do. "Do not do business with this seller! They promised a new book and sent me a used book in unacceptable condition for the price I paid. They are very slow at answering questions about where your shipment is or what their return policy is. They're not even personal. I asked what their return policy is and they sent me a generic email with the address as well as suggesting that you insure your return shipment in case it gets lost. I asked them to clarify about which reference # since I ordered through a reputable site,to include and they they sent me the same automated email. It didn't even answer my question!It also took a full 2 weeks to ship the book to me using an untraceable method. It is NOT an independent entity. What we need to do is stop dealing with Abe Books. Use one of the other reputable sites providing information and order processing for good used books."
"Run away. I would not use SuperBookDeals again. It took almost 3 weeks to receive the used book and they had the gall to put "Time Sensitive Material" on the package. SuperBookDeals immediately marked the book as 'sent' and provided a USPS tracking number but the book was not mailed until 2 weeks after I placed the order. I believe this is a ploy to prevent buyers from cancelling the order while they look for a copy of the book. The USPS tracking number was invalid until they mailed the book 2 weeks later - and my Order Number was never recognized by the SuperBookDeals Order Status page. SuperBookDeals has no phone number and did not respond to multiple emails. My order went into a black hole for 2 weeks with no answers from SuperBookDeals and no help from Barnes&Noble. The only shipping option was 4-14 business days which means 3 weeks. Barnes&Noble said to expect the book in 3 weeks not 'within 3 weeks'. Both claimed that the book was mailed the day after my order but the packaging labels and tracking info show a different story. I can't believe that B&N allows this merchant to play these games.
