"I ordered three different parts for my boiler, which I received in a timely manner. I got my parts installed and checked for leaks and all looked good. One week later I checked again and my temperature/pressure gauge was getting water in where you read the gauge. Luckily I had purchased a spare gauge for future use. I changed out the gauges and contacted the manufacturer that I had received a faulty gauge. I also watched the next gauge I had installed closely for leaking as well.
Store house was helpful in taking my complaint and I supplied the information they needed , but they had to pass it on to the next step. About two weeks later I received an email that they had made contact with the boiler manufacturer about the model boiler I had and said I should have purchased a different gauge which was listed as being for an electric boiler and mine is gas. They did say however that they would cover the gauge under warranty since the two were so Close to being the same.
I think they should have replaced the gauge because it was defective and was only in service one week. Why make a customer wait all that time to get a replacement for a gauge the was faulty. Luckily I made the repair prior to the heating season. "
