"I have ordered 2 items from Surplus Computers. The first was a PCI (combo USB/FireWire) card which works great. The second item was a Sony EIDI CDRW w/Nero 6.0 Disk & 25 CD media Disks. Every thing was fine w/the exception of the Nero Disk which is defective,I tried it on both XP and Windows 2000 and it will not install. All dealings w/ Surpluss have been good. "

"Overall I think you have a well designed easy to use site. Your product mix is interesting and fits in well with my needs. Having said that, your shipping and handling fees on a per line basis are so far out of line that I often divert my business to other suppliers. You need to seriously reconsider your shipping and handling charge policies. For business to business orders,and regular customers, you should be charging "actual shipping charges" and perhaps a small handling fee. Your current method significantly adds to the price of the goods you sell and also leaves the impression that your prices are being padded. You should also consider using USPS Priority Mail for smaller packages being shipped to the east coast. USPS Priority rates are about the same as UPS ground rates, and cuts the delivery time from the west coast to the east coast by roughly half. Providing a your customers this choice would be a big plus. So please, offer me and "actual shipping" scheme thats reasonable and I'll gladly increase my business with you.

The ordering process is easy.
The terms and shipping charges are up front and very visable.
The only negative is the time it takes from date of order to recipt of item....2 weeks for a monitor. This item wasn't imediately needed, but in the future it could be.
I placed the order on the 14th and it wasn't shipped until the 21st."
