"Order was placed on Ocotber 30th, 2003 for a 2.2PRO Mod Chip + 120GB HD to be installed by System Mods Technologies. Total price of the purchase was $226.00. I shipped my Xbox to SMT on the same day and followed the shipping instructions provided to me by SMT.
One month later, my order was not processed and was still "Pending" according to SMT's order status web page. Called SMT on numerous occassions, and was told week after week that my order will be completed "Friday".
Two months later still no Xbox, and I contacted SMT to follow up on my order. SMT stated that my order has been completed and will ship on "Friday". I patiently waited two Fridays, and still no Xbox was delivered to my residence.
Called SMT once again, and they stated that my Xbox was shipped, and that "they don't know what the progress is on my order, but will TRACK it." SMT then returned a phone call in need of the original tracking number, which was provided by me personally, during the same phone conversation. SMT then stated that they would contact me as soon as any information should arise on my order / delivery.
SMT has not returned any of my phone calls or emails ever since that phone conversation. I called them one more time and they stated that the person I originally was dealing "quit".
To this day Feb. 3rd 2004, I still do not have my Xbox, nor has a refund of my money and Xbox have been offered to me. I am an honest person, and only want what is right.

I ordered 5 Xecuter3 chips and paid extra for 1-2 day delivery. I received 5 Xecuter 2.6 chips instead! oh well...at least the order arrived in 2days....but since i received the wrong items it really doesn't mean anything. I've emailed SMT a week ago and still no reply. I thought i'd try reviewing them here... who knows... maybe I'll get a response.
Also note... I've dealt with SMT several times over the past 2 years. My experience with them so far have been okay. They ship lightning fast when they have stock. But if you order when they don't have stock you're screwed. They take your money and you gotta wait. Trying to get in contact with them is difficult. They never respond to emails... so it seems.
Overall i would say they are a good company. Just hope when you make your order they have stock and they get it right. Otherwise you play the waiting game."
"I have had nothing but bad service from these guys.
I had been waiting since christmas for the item be in stock. When it finally did, I placed my order on Jan 10th. It's now Jan. 30th and they still havn't shipped the item. I've tried calling their number and get nothing. I went into IRC and was told to "PM Nolga with your order #". I did that twice this week and still nothing. I can't even remember how many emails I have written, none of which were answered.
Now that the item is no longer in stock, I'm screwed. All I want is my money back, and they still don't answer. AVOID THIS COMPANY."

"Ordered 1/9, install service. Shipped off XBOX, with my own HD, added cooling fan and a chip to be installed in the shopping cart.
Today is 1/23 and still NOTHING, order still shows in progress. Pathetic. I went to online chat and they were very quick in responding to my question "Update on order?" but they could not tell me anything about my order or when I should expect to recieve it. Basically, the just be patient routine and the old "oh, it should ship tomorrow" I have heard this more times than I can count!
So far, my experience with this company has been very bad. I call their voice line and they say they are closed even though the hours stated on their website show that they should be open. They don't answer emails and there seems to be a lack of communication between the different departments. I.E. Sales, Installs, Premods....The only people I have found to be competent are the IRC folks, but they are just support.
I would avoid this company until they get their act together, if they ever do. They also need to update their website to reflect REALISTIC wait times. Definitely false advertising.
Meanwhile, I will play the waiting game.
