STAY AWAY!

"If you're looking for nightmare customer service, you've come to the right place.
I ordered a cat-back exhaust system from them in January. I misread the information on the part and had to return it.
Upon emailing and explaining it was the wrong size and asking to return it, they tried to tell me that it would fit my truck, which of course as I had already told them, it would not.
They then replied and told me they would go ahead and set up the return and send me label instructions, but I would have to pay shipping to return it, as well as being charged the $38 for the shipping they paid to send it to me.
What happened to "FREE SHIPPING"?? After not hearing back from them for a week, I had to email them again and see what was going on, and they replied and told me they would follow it up and send it to me as soon as possible.
After pestering them again, it only took a day for them to send me the label. They then tell you that you have to ship it with a tracking number AND insurance, and if you don't it will take more time for them to process the return.
Which makes no sense at all. Why would it take longer as they will still receive it at the same time. After much frustration I was finally able to return the product, which cost me a whopping $100 to return.
Days after sending it back with guaranteed one day shipping I checked the tracking number and it said "Item has been held by Canada Post by recipients request." Are you kidding me?!
After trying for almost two weeks to return a product you won't even receive it when I send it? After receive the product and finally refunding me. It appears I was deducted $43 for their shipping cost instead of the $38 they had previously told me I would have to pay.

Once everything was over I started looking at other reviews, which I should have done before buying from them. Time after time it seems like they try to make it as hard as possible to make a return, so you get fed up and try to sell the product on Kijiji so they can keep their profit.
One of the scummiest companies I've ever had to deal with.
Bottom line? TDOT Performance is a terrible company hiding behind a pretty website.
Do NOT waste your time here. Buy your products from ANYWHERE ELSE.
Wrench Monkey, a junk yard, ANYWHERE. I'm all for supporting Canadian companies, but they don't deserve it.

"These wonderful guys just showed up on the side of the highway after my husband and I had been trying to change a flat. We had been fighting to change a flat for 45 mins or longer because our tire tool was stripped out. With no luck I have to say. Then out of nowhere it seemed these guys showed up and basically changed the tire for us and had us back on the road in a couple mins. I have to say they were a great blessing to us and we cannot express our thanks enough!! God bless you 3 men!!"

DONT EVER USE THEM

"terrible customer service. they costed me 300$ dollars. told me the rad i ordered was on back order and i could cancel it so i opted to cancel it and bought another but they didn’t respond to my email for nearly a week and by then it shipped from the manufacturer. it’s been almost a month and i still haven’t received it or word of it being shipped. "

Don’t dare go there

"Ordered parts that according to the catalog were for my Ram 1500 regular box
Turns out that they were for a Ram box. Totally different!! Phoned to get parts picked up and told them there listing is wrong, got everything worked out (I thought) had to wait 3days for return paper work and then they wanted me to pay the return shipping!!! Anyway first ordered in June it is now September I finally had enough and told them EXACTLY what I thought of them. Just going to sell on Kijiji

Not impressed by the service at all.

"- Being user friendly is something they can learn.
- Order cancellation is a joke. You are forced to receive and return the product even if you try to cancel moments after you have placed the order.
- No inventory status is provided before you order. I ordered something and came to know a couple days later that it will take them 3 weeks to get the product ready.
- Customer service is bad. Long wait times and no one bothers to returns your call even when they ensure that they will call back.
- Order status never gets updated. It's a useless feature.
- Although it can take longer to order, but I will recommend that you better confirm via phone before you place the order about the product.
- their promotion codes don't work as advertised on their own website.

Verdict: If you are lucky and the product is in stock, and it is the right product that you need, their service is comparable to other online sellers. But if not, then it is a hassle.

Shipped my order even though I told them to give me a refund and cancel the order

"I ordered a set of rotors and pads for my Subaru. They were on backorder and I was sent an email saying that within 10 to 15 days that I should have my order. Well it was past 20 days and I was reading bad reviews about the rotors Aswell as tdot so I requested a refund over email. I sent the email and a couple of says later I get an email saying that they have shipped out the order and a couple days after that they contact me back saying that they can't help me since they already shipped out the rotors and pads. Now I have to make the drive to the post office in the other side of my town to get my order that I didn't want. Horrible customer service and I would not recommend this company to anyone "

Horrible customer service

"Ordered and received damaged parts. Set up a return and the new parts arrived damaged again. Set up another return and guess what? Third time I received, you guessed it, damaged parts. I decided to buy the items needed to repair the parts myself from another retailer. I complained and was told I would receive a partial refund. Heard nothing. Contacted them again and was assured a refund was in the works. Heard nothing. Contacted again and was given the run around again. I never did receive a refund and never heard from them again. Save yourself a headache and order from somewhere else. "

Shipping & Parts Good - HOWEVER - Worst support team ever

"It all started pretty good, i contacted them regarding an item prior to order.
They gave me the information needed in 2-3 working days and i was ready to place my order.

Then the parts came to me but unfortunately there was a mistake in the hardware bag.
Of course this is not their fault, however when i asked for the replacement part for harware it starterd to be complicated.

Ok - The part in question was a little insert to mount my hood deflector to my truck. One of the inserts was wrong.
I asked for a replacement part and i got a reply 4 working days after saying they cannot send me the part and that i had 2 choices (here i copy their choices):
1. If you get the hardware locally, send us the receipt for it and we will reimburse you for it.
2. We can send out a whole new kit, swap out the hardware with the new product and we will setup a return on it.

This is a 1.5m long hood deflector which was missing only an plastic insert (1x1x1cm)...
After 3 weeks still not resolved since they take 4-7 days to answer each times...
They even asked me to return the whole thing for a RMA and they would have sent a new one...

I contacted the manufacturer "LUND" and they promply answered and got my a complete hardware bag in 2days.

NEVER AGAIN ...

Shipping faulty parts.

"This company shipped a faulty part which shorted an electrical module on my truck. When I called to exchange the item and showed offered to send the main dealer diagnosis sheet they did not want to know. The parts are advertised as cheap compared to competitors and that’s for a good reason. You pay for what you get, obviously. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DISREPUTABLE COMPANY. "

Worst sales team

"Made several purchases and was raving about this company until I tried to make a purchase over the phone. Unfortunately could not get in contact no matter how many calls and messages were left. Guess the. Company doesn't need faithful customers. Thanks to support and warehouse for being wonderful but now there is a real sour taste left with me"

Legit but.....

"Legit site, great prices, free shipping within Canada. I'd give them a five, but there were a couple of issues I had with these guys.

1)They do not answer emails for support, and don't answer their contact form( at least for me). However, if you call, they are very, very good people to speak with.

2)They sent me an email notifying me that my part had been superseded by another, but that there would be no extra cost. I called to get shipping info and was notified their was $70 owed for the new product. Not a huge deal, still cheaper than anywhere else. However, I am a bit disappointed with the communication.

In closing, great site, would order again. Just keep in mind that they are not the best at communication. Personally, I would avoid ordering anything that I need to arrive quickly. That said, their prices are second to none in Canada. And their phone support is fantastic, I spoke to three different guys and all were very helpful and patient.
