"Don't be fooled by their flashy website or their shopperapproved.com rating. Companies pay shopperapproved.com to host their reviews and almost all companies with poor reviews everywhere else will have a great review on shopperapproved.com. But my main issue with TDot is their advertised "Best Price Guarantee". When I found an identical in-stock item at a lower price on another Canadian website I called TDot as per process thinking it would be a simple comparison and I would get the TDot Price Match. Nope! Not that straightforward! Because they are only a reseller they have to take the request to their supplier and that can take days even though I was told I would hear back within 24 hours! After waiting the 24 hours I then emailed TDot the required info to price match i.e. Item, Price, Availability, URL etc. and after another 2 days I still have not heard back from them. Possibly they like to delay it so long so the customer gets fed up and buys the lower priced item from the other company? Maybe they like to delay their price matching in hope that the other companies price will go up? Your guess is as good as mine! In my case I never heard back from them! My advice to TDot, is if you can't honor your "Best Price Guarantee" within a respectable period of time than be up front with your customers and tell them that! I would have had more respect for your company if you would have simply told me that you were unable to beat the competitors price instead of making me wait for days without any response at all. *Update* After one week TDot Performance finally emailed me back advising that they would not price match! Good thing I went ahead and purchased the lower priced item from TPS. My advice to TDot would be to add two small words to their "We'll beat the lowest price by 10% of the difference!" to "We'll try to beat the lowest price by 10% of the difference!"
"I ordered my tonneau cover before searching the reviews online, on Jan 21, 2021. Very nervous now. They do not have telephone service which is a bad business practice. They only have persons email under the guise of 'sales'. They withdrew my money from PayPal the very day i ordered and have not yet issued a invoice or any confirmation. Ordered multiple parts for my truck, bull bar, grill insert, suspension lift, cold air intake and a cat back MBRP exhaust, suspension lift had a 10-15day delivery, the lift showed up in 7days, super stocked to get all these mods on my truck. Excellent customer service as they worked with me and was very patient as I was making changes on the fly, once I had all this done they confirmed fitment for me so as to make sure everything I bought fit my truck. Prices were on point with what I found elsewhere and it's a Canadian company so I wanted to keep my hard earned $$ in Canada. I have read some bad reviews but my service with TDOT was nothing short of excellent, I will buy from them again when I figure out other mods for my truck. Excellent job TDOT and Ryan my customer service agent..

"These idiots are without a doubt the worst online source to but anything. They have non-existant customer service dept,do not reply to emails,do not answer phone calls,will not talk to you live,and continually stall your requests for information and return requests.Web page states 30 day No-Hassel returns which is a total lie,Canadian company with best possible price another total lie,Help line provides phone number which is never answered so you should be warry of other review sites stating customer service was helpful when all you need to do is call their number and find it does not get answered.I ordered 2 brake kits using their parts fitment tool on website. Then you find they do not have any tracking to see your shipments and after constant emailing to customer service as they do not answer phones you may or may not receive some sort of generic reply which will not answer your questions. 2-1/2 weeks later 1 kit arrived with wrong parts and ever since I have been trying to return for refund.I also pointed out and sent pictures of that same kit showing it could be purchased on Amazon for over $200 less and that their website states clearly they will match advertised prices and beat by 10% apparently yet another lie. You fill-out a return request forms and submit on website them comes the stalling from customer service emails asking questions and requesting pictures by several differently named customer service reps but none are actually providing the type of service claimed on their website. They have told me I am unable to cancel the rest of my order which I have not received as they claim it has shipped some 2 weeks ago but the website under orders states my order has been receive and will be process shortly.These clowns are without a doubt the biggest scammers possible and I will now need to involve my credit card company and possibly a legal representative to recover the funds they initially took from me.Do not make the same mistake and deal with these scammers! "
"I ordered two bug deflectors for my truck and a friends. Price was ok, two days after order got an email saying it was special order. Got them a week later they did no fit.
My credit card was billed June 10th. Returned the parts at my cost, which by the way was almost the cost of the two items. Today is Aug. 5th and still no refund. Cannot even get email replies from them.
I recommend you shop somewhere else. Worse customer service I have experienced."
"I ordered a Thule bike rack from this company in may, waited a month after getting my confirmation without hearing anything else from them. Finally emailed them and they responded by saying it would be shipped on june 20th. Still no tracking number and it is impossible to get ahold of anyone other than emails which they take “ atleast one week to respond to” Waste of time and money. Don’t give these people business."
