"On 06/15/07 I purchased a T-mobile pre-paid cell phone Nokia 6030 for $30. I bought it on-line from www.t-mobile.com. The phone came with a $30 rebate. Soon I got a letter denying my rebate under a ridiculous pretext that I purchased the phone from an "unqualified selling point" meaning that www.t-mobile.com is not an authorized dealer of T-mobile Inc. When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau T-Mobile invented a new reason for not honoring my rebate – that it was not advertised. That's just not true. The rebate was openly advertised on www.t-mobile.com. When this explanation did not work out, t-mobile came up with the third reason: the phone was on sale that's why it was not eligible for the rebate offer.
BTW, people who bought exactly the same phone in May did receive their rebates.
Overall, I have never seen such a cynical and indecent deny-rebate
policy when the company invents all possible reasons one after
another not to pay rebates that they advertise. I suspect that its responses are generated automatically and reject rebates without any arguments.

"Clowns.
I never received $250 in rebates, but since they were routed through a third party, T-Mobile won't help.
I was called a liar by their reps since four previous calls to their support were not properly logged, and I never received properly working chargers because of it.
Got robbed by my phone insurer (NCOA changed the terms of my insurance after the fact). T-mobile was willing to refund a month's service charges (as I have been without it for nearly two months) only if I renewed my contract. My new phone has taken 9 days to arrive; knowing I had no phone, they made no offer to get my replacement to me quickly except to pay $15 more for expedited shipping.
You won't save any money with T-Mobile, because they'll get it from you in other ways. Removing the T-Mobile hassle alone is worth $10/mo. I will be happy to switch providers next year.

"I was approved online for a smart access account. Paid the 80.00 that it took for me to activate it and got a free phone. when the phone arrived and i tried to activate it, they customer service representative told me that I wasnt approved! Even as I sat there with the phone in my hand, and my account debited 80 dollars. So I sent the phone back. The website said that it take 7 days for refund, the customer service department told me it will take 30 days because they had been processing alot of refunds and returns, 33 days later, i call, they tell me that it will take 7-10 MORE days for my money to be refunded, Horrible customer service, horrible online service, I would recommened this company to anyone."
"Called them to ask about switching from the Individual Plan to a Family Plan and they were very helpful. I also wanted to port my home landline to the new plan and they said "No problem". I was asked to choose 2 from their selection of free phones or upgrade my existing phone. I chose 1 new free phone (Samsung) and an upgrade for my Motorola A630 to a Razr V3 for $49. They said it would take 4 to 5 days to receive my phones and 10 days to port my home landline.
I placed the order on 12/27/05 and received the new phones on 12/30/05. On 1/3/06 my landline was switched over to my new Samsung Cell Phone.
They were fast, courteous and very easy to deal with. I spoke to Americans and they were very pleasant."
