"I ordered 5 items from them all of which were listed as "In Stock" on their website. After a week they sent three of them. No info on what happened to the other two.
I called them and after waiting on hold for an hour they closed for the day and left me hanging.
Called the next day and they said one was in stock and one they would order. Three week gone by and I still don't know anything about the 5th item. Called again and they said it was in stock and they would see if they could ship it out.
I'll never order from them again. Tackle Warehouse is much better."

"For the past week I’ve been attempting to obtain a status on an order placed on July 1. I’ve sent emails asking for an update and also spent 25 minutes on the phone waiting for a live voice on the other end. I entered my return call phone number multiple times but still never received a call....and my Paypal account has already been decremented. My brother recommended the site to me and now I need to tell him it was a bust and not to shop here again. "

"They say “available to order” “ships in 3-5 days and item is green. I called and they said it would ship. It has been 13 days and no word.
With so many competitors and apps you can buy from in 2019. Why wait weeks and weeks IF they ever fill their prder"
"I ordered several items and received an automated order confirmation the next day. I did not receive shipping or tracking information on the order, although I had requested the information 5-6 times via email and chat. It wasn't until 11 days later, when an automated email was sent with the requested tracking information. There was never a response from their "customer service or sales" department.
In the age of next day delivery and email, there are many other companies to choose from. I will not be using TackleDirect/TackleIndirect, in the future."
" I ordered a rod with expedited service received it late anyways by several days. Then the rod was a manufacture defect. So you have to ship it back wait till they receive it to have a new rod shipped out so instead of a two day expedited service that you pay extra for you have to wait three weeks. I would say this experience is borderline ridiculous . my advice is to go to your local sporting good stores to purchase your rod If you want to receive it in any reasonable amount of time."
"Ten days ago I paid TackleDirect $80 using PayPal for an item. I have not received it, nor have I heard back from the company despite having contacted them twice. The "view your status" button on the website does not reveal any information. According to PayPal, the company has taken my money, despite the fact that they are not supposed to do so until they process my order. I lived less than 100 miles away from the shipping site so I doubt that it has been delayed in ground shipping. So far this is one of the worst customer service episodes I have experienced on the web. I would not recommend dealing with them. I will update this if/when I ever hear from the company. "
"TD relies on other vendors to drop ship for them. They emailed me and said my order was shipped complete. When it arrived it was not complete. When I called they said they were sorry but their was nothing they could. Let the buyer beware!"
"I bought a map from TackleDirect that promised to ship that day if I ordered prior to 2PM and the estimated delivery was the very next day. Since I was short on time, I ordered the map. Five days later the item had still not shipped and I was leaving the next day for my trip for which I needed the map. I asked them to cancel the order as it would not arrive in time for my trip. The order was not cancelled and the item shipped anyway and was delivered after I had left for my trip. When I returned the item for a refund they subtracted the shipping cost out of the refund and REFUSE to pay for that shipping even though they didn't hold up their end of the deal. THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. I should have looked at the other review before ordering..."
"I would like to change my review. I ordered over $200 worth of product from Tackle Direct on line and received what I ordered in good condition and was very satisfied. For spending that much they sent me a $15.00 thank you coupon which could be used on a $200 order. This month when I went to their website it said Free Shipping for orders over $200. I ordered $250.00 and used the $15.00 coupon I had received for the previous months order but they said I could not use the Free Shipping code on the order with the $15.00 coupon. Only one coupon could be used. That meant I had to pay $13.00 shipping. Most stores will give you a credit for both if you are a good customer spending a large amount of money. I was dissatisfied and felt it was unfair that I had to pay shipping on the order.
When their Customer Service Dept heard of my dissatisfaction, they reviewed my new order and did in deed credit me for the shipping. Therefore I am very pleased with all the service I have received from this company. I will recommend highly."
"The best line of communication with this company is the one that takes your money. very fast and efficient.
Any enquiries about your order are just not dealt with and response is ZERO.
They only get back to you (in a few hours) if you look into a product and do not purchase it.
I have looked into several possibilities but will not go forward as my first order with this company seems to be botched.

"I ordered a Yeti Cooler on 11/26/12 and received it on 11/29/12. I was able to use a coupon code and got a good deal. I didn't take the cooler out of the box until a few days before Christmas so I could get it ready to give to my husband. Upon removing the box, I see scratches around the cooler and two dents on top. I called customer service the same day. I spoke with a very nice guy and explained the problem. He was talking to another guy in the same room whom he referred to as "the guy who fills the orders". They said they probably couldn't get me a new one before Christmas, I said that was fine. They asked me to send pics via email, which I did within minutes. Now, as of 12/31, I haven't heard a thing back. I plan to pursue this until it's resolved."
