"They have a great selection, but fail to let you know an item is NOT in-stock when you order it. Took a MONTH to get ALL of my order in. I was expecting the items ordered within a week or two, as it appeared they had the items in stock, but turned out not to be true once I placed the order. If it shows you have so many in stock, I kind of expect a much more timely delivery of the order. One of the reasons I put an order in with Tackle Direct and not Amazon.com or BassPro Shops, is they didn't have the items I wanted in stock and Tackle Direct claim to have them. So I was expecting to get items much quicker than I actually did. That's my main disappointment in my business dealings with Tackle Direct. "

"The rod I ordered is damaged and no one will return my emails about getting it fixed/replaced. Tackle direct customer service is absolutely horrible from my experience. I received my rod 3 weeks ago and still have not heard back from anyone after emailing customer service. I had to pay $8 extra to have my rod shipped in a heavy duty rod tube to protect it during shipping, which no other company has ever charged me for, then when I pull the rod out of the tube it was damaged anyways. The damage has to have happened in the warehouse prior to shipping because the guide was bent over but the shipping tube was not damaged at all. This is the first order I've ever placed with tackle direct and will be my last due to the lack of customer service. "
"I placed an order around June 1. I placed the order for 1 billfisher rod and 4 penn pursuit combos. I got the billfisher a couple weeks later. I sent 3 emails to tackle direct and posted on the THT with no response I had to dispute my transaction and eventually got my money back from my bank. I had a trip planned and I had to go buy these combos elsewhere. Now yesterday I see they have shipped. If I’m charged I’ll dispute again because I do not want them now. My last name is Wiley. However I doubt I’ll get a response to this also. If you don’t have it in stock how about not charging someone until it is. My number is ***-***-****"
