"I called Talbots because when I was ordering a Christmas gift I wanted a gift box and could not find the offer on your website. Your representative told me that it had been decided that NO gift wrapping would be offered this year! I was dumbfounded and extremely disappointed! I have been a Talbots client since the 1980s and a Premier member for several years. I was astounded that a company like Talbots would cheapen their image by not offering gift wrapping especially during the holidays! Your representative was sympathic and understanding. "Some of your associates are very difficult to understand, sometimes there is a lot of noise in the background. Most of my phone experiences are not up to par. The one I thought was was having problems with the computer changing the order for different articles I was ordering. Then part of my order ending up being cancelled and I did not receive. This was very upsetting. Also, when I receive my merchandise sometimes I don't get an invoice that shows what I was charged. Next the prices have been deleted or pulled off of the merchandise so I can not check if I received discounts I should have or points I should have. Very flustrating..."
